Hold your horses. He still has to spend a couple seasons languishing in reserve grade watching the likes of Kyle Lovett get picked ahead of him. Then he can play 10 minutes at centre one week off the bench.
Only then may he move clubs and flourish.

Substitute his name for Joe Tapine or Pangai jr - and sub lovett for jeremy smith and you have the same inept player management as newcastle

Plus we have to wait for his salary to get high enough for the Tigers to pay a fair portion of it while with his new club.Milchcow wrote:

Fairly sure that isn't a prerequisite mate.
In fact, it may even count against him....

Andrew Webster, Warriors assistant has signed onto the Tigers coaching staff. I only hope he is not going to be used as defensive coach to replace Kidwell.
Someone on the Tigers forum compared it to trading in a Kingswood for a Datsun 120Y, clever.
(The analogy that is, not the Tigers)

Is Kidwell gone? Not sure what it is about him but Kidwell just freaks me out for some reason.bluetige wrote:Andrew Webster, Warriors assistant has signed onto the Tigers coaching staff. I only hope he is not going to be used as defensive coach to replace Kidwell.

Kidwell is gone.
On the plus side, Tigers still alive in U20s and NSW Cup. In a way it's a shame Farah didn't get dumped earlier, he could be playing off for a grand final spot at Leichhardt this Sunday

Did him pulling out of NSW Cup games with "injury" mean he didnt play enough games?

NO WUCKING FAY! I can't believe they want to re-sign the fraudster.

I can't believe it, how about setting him some performance targets before even thinking about giving him a pen. I'd give him a pen, right up the arse! News has spoiled a good day

Re: Wests Tigers 2016 Thread
So allegedly the goal for this year was top 8.
We almost got that (and if Parra hadn't been caught cheating would have safely missed it)
Taylor was forgiven, and allegedly given the goal of top 4 for next year. Now we are pre-emptively forgiving him for missing that and giving him another crack in 2018.
In a way I can see why you might want to do that - our salary cap is still stuffed for next year, and it will be at least another 12 months before we are able to make serious changes to our roster.
On the other hand, why does our club always not just tolerate mediocrity, but reward it

Re: Wests Tigers 2016 Thread
My personal opinion, even though I don't really like Taylor, is we should let him see it through for the next 2 years. We had a good season all things considered certainly better than most would have thought. I still can't believe we took him over Hook, but at the end of the day I reckon he has probably been to hell and back this year, but managed to come out ahead.

Re: Wests Tigers 2016 Thread
Why the fuck has no one signed Ivan Cleary? He's absolutely phenomenal at getting the best out of talent. Great at bringing up juniors and you'd also have the inside track at potentially signing Nathan.
