    No, you're wrong, it is not what most would have thought.  By saying that you think at the start of the season most would have had the Tigers still in the hunt come Round 26?  No, no they wouldn't have.  Just missing the 8 a few times over the last decade was generally after strong 1st halves of the season and they capitulated.  

    This year was different to most of them-we lost 7 from the 1st 10 including 6 in a row.  Not sure about you, but ending up 9th after that tells me we are headed in the right direction.  I don't like JT; I never wanted Farah gone; but something in the 2nd half of the season worked.  Do you think changing coaches again is the right thing to do when we won 8 of our last 14 and in particular, arguably had the hardest run home of any team?

    Isnt Ivan Cleary signed as an assistant there or something. Also wasnt that a part of why you guys got E. Taylor? Cleary is such a beast.

    Or may be it's something behind the scenes. Remember that coach who everyone thought was great, but use to get into some deep hock with SP bookies. The bookies would come knocking at the club, they would settle and move the coach on.

    Near enough seems good enough for the Tigers
    The club are opting for stability over ability.

    I'd be fine extending JT's contract but it MUST have performance indicators included which will null and void the extension if the performance indicators are not met. Simple

    JT emphasised the importance of good defense when he first got the job but interesting the Tigers didn't improve that much under him

    And another thing, there were big raves over ET when he arrived but I thought the further the season went the more I could see why he was given the arse from Penrith.

    ET is an average back rower. He tackles a lot and can play that link figure from the hooker to the half which the tigers like to use.

    He is a run of the mill back rower, his defence is pretty good tho.

    PNG - When the crowd invaded the pitch after PMs 13 game most of the Australian players ran into the shed. Only David Klemmer and Aaron Woods stayed back with the crowd.

    While Klemmer gave away his boots, socks, and shorts. Aaron Woods gave everything away and walked back into the shed with nothing but his undies and sports vest!!

    Bad start isn't it, pending medical.  And hopefully it is just not a physical evaluation.

    Love the idea though as size in the centres but deadset he'll probably be a bench backrower knowing our mob.

    Pretty much every signing would be made "pending medical", but its just that they wouldn't normally make a big deal about it.
