Re: Wests Tigers 2016 Thread
Certainly one of the better draws in recent memory for us? Interesting we have 3 of the last 4 games at genuine home grounds.

Actually, the more I look at it the more I think it is THE best draw we've had in ages.

We had a pretty easy draw this past season and still managed to stuff it up and miss the semi's

Re: Wests Tigers 2016 Thread
Dunno, I don't think 2016 was that easy, but would have to go back and look. We had that run of 7 losses but the 2nd half was good. In that bad run we copped some fucking bad luck (I know most teams have hard luck stories). The controversial losses to Parra/Newcastle/Storm were all in the space of 4 weeks. Then we went to Canberra and got humiliated. I think they did well to come back from all of that.
I guess what I am saying is a bit of luck and a more settled team with that draw and it augers well. However, yes, we have a knack of just missing the Semi's when we should have made them.

I guess that this is the crunch year for Taylor isnt it?
Farah is gone, its his third year in charge, he has control over the side.
There is no reason what so ever for them doing worse than they have the last few years. They have a good young side and they have gotten rid of all the excuses now.
Make or break for taylor at the tigers, and his head coaching career in general

Dead right mate, no excuses. If we have a poor season due to injury, then understandable, but aside from that, not making the 8 will be a failure. Our slogan for 2017 is "Rising Up"
We are still short that 1 mongrel prop and strike second rower though unfortunately.

you just made me want a quick look and I found this:
we played these teams twice
warriors
titans
eels
knights
storm
raiders
rabbits
bulldogs
panthers
that equates to 2 top 4 teams, 5 top 8 teams and 4 bottom 8 teams so by the looks of it I say it was about a "middle of the run" type draw, not good nor bad, what do you reckon?

I guess if teddy misses any time then the tigers will prob lose most of those games or if mitch moses misses much time it would be the same deal
