To those not running with LAM what is your reason for not having him?

Averages 48 when playing over 35 mins and 54 when playing over 40 mins which is keeper level (Stats from 2018 and 2017). Gavet averaged 38 minutes at starting prop last year so 50 points should be expected.

Generally not when playing prop, he used to when he was on an edge. There’s also a bit of uncertainty around the way he will he used this year.

Maybe LAM isn't a trap this season? There's been chat about him having increased minutes for the last few years which didn't really eventuate, maybe this year is different. Feel free to take a punt

The Warriors props minute share and he’s been a bit of a trap in the past. Front row pickings are slim though so I’ve got him anyway

He is a backrower the cowboys who are looking to convert into a hkr role by the looks of the last trial.

Fanhub forgot to give him his discount from last year when he only played a few games from memory, hence the highish cost

The difference this season is that he's a Warrior, which could see increased minutes.

The following post from @Alfie will give you a bit more background:

    Warriors

    8. LAM 45
    9. Luke 65
    10. Paasi 40
    11. Pap 80
    12. Harris 80
    13. Blair 60
    14. Tevaga 40
    15. Afoa 25
    16. Lisone 25
    17. Burr 20

After an insane 91 without a try last year, Big Leeson looks like he should enjoy a reasonable minute increase. However does his playing style and impact change now that he’s starting and not coming on fresh mid-game. Also, the warriors props rarely played more than 50 mins. Does that change? Isaiah Papalii is another player that could provide value given he averaged well over his 39 average when playing the 80. Jazz Tevaga could be a good POD this year as well after he went to another level in 2018. The stocky workhorse could get a look in for the 9 or 13 jersey if Issac Luke isn't fit for round 1 or Jazz outdoes his teammates in pre-season. Sidenote: if Lachlan Burr gets a look at the 13 jersey, he would definitely be popular given his workhorse rep and his cash cow price.

Also on LAM. It's a pretty safe pick as you are not likely to lose any cash, unless he gets injured. But don't be disappointed if he doesn't average more than 40-45pts

Maybe conclude it after 10 rounds or something, so we aren't all waiting til end of season..

    Here's 10: Napa 32, Kahu 21, TPJ 47, Macca 54, Cook 59, B Moz 33, Murray 61, Holland 45, Watson 42, Mahoney 47
I like it. With no reasoning other than guesswork and hoping that’s what I came up with.

Yeah myself and I think from memory one other person on this forum were the only ones to know this would happen. I honestly didn’t think it would happen in under a week, but this is a big money game and just as we see teams relentlessly cheating the cap, people using this new rule as a weapon was inevitable. On a side note to that, does anyone know the last time we had a salary cap cheating free year??? I know there was some years they didn’t find them out immediately but found out later on... which still means that was a cheating year. Be interested to know if anyone has the footy smarts to answer.
Careful that you don’t pull your shoulder out patting yourself on the back, there’s another thread full of talk about it.
As for the cheating it’s happened every year for sure even if there’s some years we don’t know about.

Same. It’s more than feel with Morgan I think I can’t think of one logical reason not to start him.
Also whoever it was who mentioned his cheeky smirk earlier clearly has no taste.  Hes versatile, immensely talented, a great ball runner and organiser as well as being a cleanskin. What’s not to like?

I spent 12 hours today dicking around with my front row and just can’t find any combination I’m happy with. So answer me this fanatics, what profile front row are you all running? At the moment I’ve got a gun, mid and cow for cover being Fifi, LAM and Napa.
