    Merry TLT to everyone.

History repeats, Lomax is this years Taane Milne. Ahh the speculation.

I have a busy day and can't catch up with last nights discussion. Can someone from the morning crew tell me what, if anything, of interest came from last nights banter, from about 7pm. I got about 30min to spare so no time to read

I'm keen on Sele and Lawrie too.  Waddell is a pass for me.  Manly's backrow play big minutes, not sure if he is going to be part of the front row rotation so I don't see him getting many minutes.

If Luke is out for 2 weeks then starts back off the bench Roache could be an option?  Also does Tatola have enough time to make enough cash.  Sounds like he was impressive in the trials.  Is Burgess out for 3 weeks?  That would be 3 games as starting prop then assume he would shift back to the bench with a low B/E.

I was considering Tatola before the Ethan Lowe signing. Now I think first interchange is Tatola off with Surgess into middle and he might be done for the game with one stint

I am going to PLAY Devils advocate. But I saw someone with Salmon. (Due back Round 3) and looking to use Dylan Brown to loophole their other rookies playing before the eels.

I was considering this until I saw Salmon's stats in the halves. Not likely to get much better with less ball

Not with Brooks and Benji doing the kicking mate his best scores came with around. 35 average from playing fullback then additional km and some GK with the dogs taking him past 40 mark, he lost the extras when he moved, no go from me

That is a lot of faith to put in a rookie being an auto-pick to start in round 2.

The Crichton not starting news sounds like BS to me. Only reference to it is that's what Sam Burgess thinks. Anything more concrete out there?

I'll probably chicken out. But he's been training at centre and Eels fans think Taka is just holding his spot.

Those that have Matterson, he played a lot of minutes in the middle last year so got extra tackles in those games he scored 70. Also got a few tries to start the year. Added with going to a lesser team he is also concussion prone. I'm avoiding.

Any reason why more gun fantasy players don't have Taumololo in their side (assuming casual players are the reason why his ownership is around 25%), I know McGuire was recruited but especially to start the year with no Bolton, Scott another year older, and no Ethan Lowe now I can see Taumololo playing 80 a lot of weeks. Could start edge for 15-20 minutes then move to Lock and could even see out the game. Will play the first buy round 12

With the doubts around Angus Chricton being eased back in, Ryan James likely to be a mid 40s scorer now on an edge, Taupau likely to be used in FRF for fantasy, no Rhyse Martin, Nathan Brown coming back from injury with Moeroa on bench, there really only is Jake Trobjevic that is a better scorer. Plus Taumololo averaged I think 62 the year before.

That sales pitch was on point.

I have him, but it feels like a gamble. Average when he was an edge player was not great, but he's a different player now. Think he'll see some time in the middle but not sure he'll play 80 with Scott/McLean/McGuire/Cooper/Hess to accomodate, and even if he does he won't be taking 2 or 3 hit ups a set like he did in 2017. But the prospect of him running over halfbacks is delicious.

Everyone here is firmly in the Arrow boat for premium 2RF, with Murray to go next to him, so not much space for more 2RF cash.

If you think Taumalolo is going to play 80 a lot, then he would be good value, so go for it.

I have thought about this as well doing Matterson to Taumalolo. Although my downgrades to afford him would possibly be either RTS to Hughes or maybe drop Morgan to someone like Tatola as I have Cleary to fund Matterson to Taumalolo

No, in the financial industry so love the numbers side of it, but feel I understand the game well and have a good eye. It's all about minimizing risk really. I mean I could go get I Papali'i and Niukore for the price of Taumololo and Sele, but I save myself 1 trade for starters and Sele probably makes just as much money as the other two collectively.

I see Whitehead being a bit like Gillett in terms of well underpriced given his fantasy history but I guess the downside is he is potentially an early injury away from being Aubusson 2.0 each week.
Harris was a gun last year before his injury - maybe a bit expensive but he could be a decent POD.

    Hess
    Mbye
    Cotric

    Brailey
    Hampton
Whitehead currently in my 2rf. Hampton on my emergency list if tlt isnt kind to my squad.
