You mean Sivo, Rava, Garrick? What makes a player who hasn't played a single NRL game high ceiling?
Not Garrick, the other guys have shown in lower grades they are capable of getting high scores, Sivo averages 2 tries per game consistently for 2 seasons. Graham was talking up Rava in NRL360, great footwork in the clips they were showing, leaving guys with "broken ankles" (a basketball term, not sure if also used in league).
Looking at having Sivo, Katoa, Morris, Rava, Nikora, Holland, Burns, Xerri in those positions, along with Bateman. Nikora and Bateman allow the switching in 2nd row to maximize value each week. Rava and Burns being dual makes a big difference for the strategy. Xerri may get dual too potentially, and should get a start sooner rather than later and looks to be a dead set gun when he does.
Would rather have a different plan of attack with a unique strategy and it fails, than just try to have a team similar to everyone else. This is just round 1, at different points in the season there are going to be times where players are out for a week or 2 and I am trying to put myself in a position to capitalize on them when they occur, try to dodge the low scores and catch the high ones.
