Thinking about taking a punt on Tatola too. Or could just go Napa.

I think I need to rebuild.
Why not? Almost every team will have them both in their 17. Some may only have 1 in their 17 but I don't see much risk involved in starting them Round 1. Just have a backup plan Round 2.

1) Tedesco + Kahu
2) Edwards + Hughes
1) gun and player with upside
2) two players with upside but a gamble with both. I'll start with Edwards and not convinced about how Hughes's scoring early in the season.
How I wish I could get Teddy in my team.

Twal was getting basically the same average scores as Tolman in 20 less minutes per game. He started on the bench in every game but 1 last season, for 36 min average. The upside of 10-15 extra minutes for Twal is huge with such a high PPM.
A key reason that many were choosing Twal as a great option a few weeks ago was that Madge highly rates those that are great defenders and Twal has the best missed tackle ratio in the comp.
Tolman by comparison played off the bench 3 times last season, much lower PPM, was already playing an average of 55 minutes per game. Even if he got a highly unlikely extra 10 minutes per game, taking him to a massive 65 minutes per game, that would give him an extra 7 points max.
Except where Tolman started prop last year from R16 onwards and averaged 49, no Klemmer now either

Well the fact that everyone will be running them and they are both playing for teams fighting for the wooden spoon.
I'm thinking of doing something bold. Ill pick them, but not to play for my starting team.

Thing with Tedesco is he is that one player that scares me when I watch and don't own him
The second thing is when do you bring him in? There will always be other fires to put out and you look at the next week.......Then he bangs out an 80......
Yes you are paying a premium but he is a finished product, in the best team and will be consistent in an inconsistent position banging out a mid 55 avg
Now how do i fit him in haha

Thus makes me curious because I have Edwards and Hughes at the moment. I don't see a world where Edwards doesn't smash it this year. Hughes I could be convinced out of.
Who are your WFBs and why?
I have had both Hughes and Edwards in my team but I dont like either of them. Edwards will score around that 40-45 mark but nothing higher and he loves an injury so I shy'd away from him. and for Hughes I dont see much upside. He wont be keeper level and he wont make a lot of cash. I dont see how he is in so many teams. Ofcoarse my reasoning is very opinionated so feel free to argue with me. I love a good arguement

I'm going forwards and halves heavy and can't see Teddy in my team until after SOO.

God I'd hate to be stuck in this Nelly & Kelly shiiiit.
As a guy with Fifita/Vaughan it's hard cuz I have a bob each way...but I just can't go past the raw scoring potential of Fifita bro. So option B for me

I just don't trust Kahu. Not his injuries or anything but he doesn't seem like the fantasy type player. I think at FB he'll be a lot like Brett Stewart. While for a league team a good fullback he just won't get those fantasy scores. He doesn't have a big frame and I can't see him breaking tackles. I'm avoiding him at the moment

If he was just that little bit cheaper i could chuck him in 18-21 and forget about him. Still might
Though given his price he does cover a cow who guns it and jumps up in price, and at least he has job security

Likely to be an article or 2 coming up you would imagine. He is the kind of player that I am willing to take a risk on. If he pays off, great, if not can exchange him for another player showing more promise. If he can hold down starting prop he has significant upside. Only 2 props on the bench and one is playing his first game in first grade. Matulino only averages 43 minutes. He has a chance to cement a role with up to 45-50 minutes.
