I'm not mucking about & I'm trading Holland to Bateman. I would of considered keeping Holland if the Holland/R. Smith partnership got back together like Sonny & Cher did. Also watching Holland against the Warriors I thought he looked underdone & his defense was off & he even looked a bit slower but that could be due to fitness. I also think because Pay has selected the same 17 the Eels will win easily.

Is Bateman going to be the White Widow?
Rapana's return gives a bit of confidence that the Raiders have enough backline cover that he won't get named at centre in any teamlists, but he's still going to be first to move during any match.

Latest I heard when everyone was saying somewhere between week 8 and 12 that he was well ahead of schedule and possible week 3-4.
So naming him he probably feels he is OK but might be a little underdone. Seems to stack up with the well ahead of schedule news.

You’re back mate. Did you not play last year?
Yes, I did play last year. I don’t have a great recollection, but I think I ran out of trades in round 22 and not sure about my final ranking or where I’d go about finding it, but I’m sure it was outside 1000.

Finally got happy with losing Morris to bring in Lawrie and then I read a post saying he's gonna carve up Manly. Oh joy!

I wish I’d thought about Bateman being first one ito the back line to cover, probably would have been the push I needed to select Whitehead in my team. I think at his price point he’s a fair bit undervalued still. Would have been 22nd man in my squad before round 1.

Given what we saw of him - I'm not terribly phased. Lots of play was going through him, hew was more than strong enough to bump away from forwards, ran good lines - so I think he's got a game we'll suited to fantasy. Lots of potential even if he does play at CTR. At least he can be considered a specialist CTR as opposed to Whitehead or the Black widow who are just lumbering dudes playing wider. If he's playing CTR internationally - dudes got some talent there.
At the very least he'll get most of his game time at 13, then get some of that Raiders attacking play.
... and he faked out Wallace

I'm thinking 2x25 minute stints for 35-40 points based on how he looked last week

With Lawrie at lock he will be very hard to ignore. Thinking of Ofa>Lawrie and banking the cash. Ofa didn't get the role I wanted from him so the move is slightly justified

Have my eye on David Fifita and TPJ along with Gillett this week.
You make a valid point but form wise Eels have it & the Bulldogs don't. Plenty of tackling for the Bulldogs forwards is good. Not so good for the backs. It's good for the Eels forwards & backs.
Disclaimer: All the teams in the nrl are so even the Bulldogs could just flick the switch & they're off. The teams don't dwell on the past too much & they move on with a new mind set so a bad result can easily be turned around. League is a simple game i.e. finish your set, a good kick chase & then try to force an error through defense but sometimes things don't go to plan & you play like shite.

Ofa should see bigger minutes this week.
How sure is everyone that KSims will even get the starting lock role. Apart from his brother saying that he is keen to make that spot his, at the moment it is lawrie's and we have no evidence that the spot is his. For all we know he could play second row, or another bench forward.

Anyone else still able to see Fantasy Coach on their app?
Also MTB, the 2019 stats dont state what position they started in. Is this only able to be added at seasons end?

When I watched Morris last week to me he looked like he'd aged quickly & had lost his speed a bit & he can't leap. So I wouldn't worry about the article imo it's a good trade

Some of the trades people are suggesting are hurting my head. People wanting to trade out keepers after 1 round is just crazy imo!
