Many people got him thinking he might get 55-60 minutes, but so far average 50min not looking too good.

Im just trying to get a feel for how things might transpire with him .

Your guess is as good as mine re Tolman. I thought he'd be playing 55 minutes minimum & when he's not on the field you can see the difference. Pay is hard to read e.g. why he broke up the Holland/R. Smith combo is baffling. I would hold firm with Tolman because sooner or later Pay has to realise the team plays better with Tolman playing more minutes. The bench this week is Lichaa, Ogden, R. Martin, Chris Smith. Looking at their classifications in fantasy Ogden, Martin & Smith are 2fr but I assume Ogden & Smith will be spelling the front row. The bench to me says Tolman will see increased minutes this week.

    Arrow Murray Lane
    Morgan Brown
    Nikora Bird
    Burns CNK Edwards

    Capewell Garner Lawrie Holland

Looks like a good team to me, aside from the halves roulette of Keighran/Brown especially with some question marks around Morgan's fitness and possibly Clifford's influence.
I think it would be wise to bring in a gun sooner or later. Maybe aim to bring Teddy in a round or 2 and move Hughes to your halves for extra cover, so you can milk Keighran/Brown from the EMG without having to worry about their scores week to week.

    Cheers Chewie. Great advice.

I had Hughes to Tedesco as a future trade option but you’re right that he could be a decent short term halves cover instead and to effectively save a trade as I wouldn’t be able to afford a halves keeper yet

Would save a headache too that’s for sure

Now to find the cash to get Tedesco!

I don't know if this is very sensible but I've got both Taumololo and Holland and they both probably need trading.
Holland to Bird is a no brainer at present and hopefully 3-4 weeks of good bird scores can ride me all the way to Bateman in readiness for his return to lock.

So my next predicament is having played Ravalawa last week. To avoid this I may POD up and go straight off the bat for Tom Turbo. Not sure if this is very smart given his hammies but why not when you are chasing the game.

    So are these trades good:

    Holland to Bird
Lolo to TTurbo + 185K in the bank

    17 for this week:

    Mahoney
    Fifita Lawrie
    Arrow Murray Lane
    Morgan DBrown
    Nikora Bird
    TTurbo DEdwards Burns

    Taupau Niukore Garner

and 1 of Roache (out), Burr, Ravalawa, Keighran and Mikaele.

Was it a hammy that TTrbo are back from last year too (or was it the year before)? Either way I recall owning TTrbo post an injury and it took him several rounds to get back into the swing of things. The surface there at Brookvale surely a concern still too... Lastly , its hard to argue TTrbo is value at the moment.

I'd avoid him for now and find a value play mate then use the left over cash you'll have next week to fix other issues.

I really want to keep the faith with Holland, but I keep coming back to Holland to Bird, it just makes sense. I can always get Holland back later if things turn around. Morris will have to sit until a cow becomes available. it's not worth two trades getting rid of Rava to upgrade Morris to Bird just to keep Holland.

Seen a couple things now about Moylan, Feki and Jmoz sitting out training yesterday and Xerri training at right centre. Surely it’s not worth trading in a cow for a chance of one big score for him to be benched the week after? However, they do have Dugan, and Xerri could outplay Feki from the team

Maybe not, but a lot of people are picking up Teddy, and his home ground surface is horrendous. Just think if I have the money why not choose Turbo with Teddy's BE 67 and Turbo 48.
Teddy hasn't exactly set the world on fire?

If he's a late in then I'll certainly have my eye on him (duh)

Won't get him unless there is something a little more concrete on how many games he would get. Despite the fact those guys sat out training, their hasn't been any real concern shown over their injuries.

Looking at the make up of your team Holland needs to go. You've got enough cover in the ctrs. Ideally Holland to a backup hooker

I am looking forward to Tommy Turbo coming back in the hope that it helps DCE and Garricks scoring from more attacking opportunities. They will be a much better side with him on the park.

Maybe, but George did start on the left wing in all trials before getting injured. It's not as if Sivo has set the world on fire and doing anything GJennings can't do. GJennings has more experience, less errors and is defensively better, I'd be surprised if at full fitness he doesn't make his way back in.

That is my strategy, I hope to get ahead on some of the other teams who gamble on their halves. Last weekend I played Keighran over Brown and got stung, 35points I missed out on, I'm playing it safe this weekend. Brown didn't look like he was going to score well up until he scored that try and both Keighran and Brown could have had a dud score
