Does Capewell to Bird allow you to go Macca to Cook?

Not bad thinking, I have 28k so not enough for Macca to cook. I’ve already used one trade to go Holland to burns this week. Could go Capewell to bird as well this week. Get more of his price rise.

Who would drop out of your 17 in that case?
I take it you would have both Keighran and DBrown in 14-21 positions and choosing between the two?
You know you can just straight swap Xerri and Keighran without moving Nikora aye

Oh. Why wouldn't you just swap Nikora and Garner in the first place? lol.

    NRL Late Mail:

    - Zac Lomax could make his first appearance for the Dragons in 2019 with centre Tim Lafai in doubt for Thursday night's clash with Brisbane at Suncorp Stadium. Lafai has been hampered by a hamstring complaint so Lomax, who was named on the reserves list, has flown to Brisbane with the team as cover.
    - Sosaia Feki and Matt Moylan sat out training on Tuesday with knee issues. Feki is considered most in doubt to play the Cowboys with Bronson Xerri in line for an NRL debut if he is ruled out. Josh Morris also missed training due to a family illness but is not in any doubt.
    - Sione Katoa has been named for the side but is carrying a groin issue. If he's ruled out, Wayde Egan will move into hooker with Jarome Luai joining the bench.

Luxury trade but one I would probably do given you don't exactly have to play Bird with already owning the two best centres. Capewell/Bird are now just emergencies and cash cows and with a negative Break Even it probably makes sense to make the trade.

I was stubborn not bringing in Hiku last year and Bird is doing even better, with the coach talking him up and now see why after two games. Dragons right edge is going to be tested again.

Ride Macca for 2 to 3 more weeks and see if more tighter defensive games means he scores the odd 60. Dragons, Roosters and Tigers in next 3 games could be huge tackle counts.

No one is dropped from the 17. Nikora swaps with a 2RF like Garner. Brown moves up as Nikora becomes first CTR on the bench.

To get Keighran I play Nikora at 19, move Garner to starting 2RF and move Keighran to his spot.

The optimal way to loop is to have the non player in your 17, it leaves you with the most options when you have other duals you can move around like Bateman and Nikora.

Not sure this has been responded too has it? Hard to say exactly cause I dont know what the MN is. But it's in the ballpark mate - I'd say its correct plus or minus 2 or 3.

Take a look at the way the formula works for BEs and price changes. Just because a player outscores (or even 'significantly' outscores) their BE doesn't necessarily mean their BE will decline. By that logic once a player gets their BE to the -ve's they'd likely never see a positive BE again, which we know is not the case.

You've nailed it here but his official BE is 24 anyway.

    Cam Smith
    Fifita Taupau
    Murray Trbojevic Lane
    Pearce Morgan
    Capewell Nikora
    Ravalawa CNK Edwards

    Garner Flegler Host Brown
    Keighran Burr Sivo Mikaele

Would Pearce -> Lawrie and Sivo -> Burns be a good option?

In going so top heavy, you've left yourself quite light in the outside backs. Pearce isn't someone I'd be trading but to buff up your WFB's I'd actually consider it.

Lawrie is going to keep making money as even off the bench his workrate doesn't seem to change much. With Burns I'd consider going sideways and trading Edwards for him. Cash is a must for your team.
Relying on Ravalawa as a WFB scorer and bench forwards like Flegler can make things go awry very quick.

Because then he is in the way of getting Rava's score as he is no longer the first CTR in line.

But then you could just swap him and Xerri.

EDIT: Yeah okay, too confusing for me.

I think what MattNZ is saying is correct, but I guess if Xerri is a late inclusion then looks as the though the loop is out of the question, and playing left wing instead of right centre I don't expect a massive score

With K. Mann replacing C. Watson at f/b he peaked my interest but then realised Man is a dpp hok/hlf which doesn't help at all. Why can't he be a dpp hok/wfb.

He has been training at right center, will see where he ends up, if anywhere.

Taking a conservative approach again with 1 trade of Host to Lawrie (21k ITB after trade)

    Cook (c)
    Fifita Tolman
    Arrow Murray Lane
    Morgan Keighran
    Bird Nikora
    Tedesco Burns CNK

    Mahoney Whitehead Garner Lawrie
    Brown Garrick Ravalawa Sivo

Foregoing Surgess for now which could come back to bite me but giving Tolman a week to see how minutes are with new bench and then may change to Twal/McLean/TPJ
