Yeah NAS probably has more scoring potential than Packer with offloads and TBs. Didnt he get a couple of good scores at the end of last season?

Everyone is saying that Papa wont be heading up the front. If he went to the raiders I feel he would have had less competition for mins than at the cowboys with Scott, Hannant, Bolton, Hoare, Asiata and Spina compared to Boyd, Vaughn and Lima?

Plus is Boyd capable of playing massive mins? I know hes a monster but I think he suits short stints of impact

Similar in terms of multiple players capable of playing prop but the importance of being the top prop at a club should be considered. Had Tamou moved he would have been the undisputed top dog and would be in the shoes that Scott is at the Cowboys where he would be the one expected to and would likely be given those extra 5-10 mins per game should others get tired around them. And it is those big minute playing props who are the ones that consistently rank highly when talk of best prop comes around- Scott, Graham, JBrom all play big minutes and put a lot of workload in for the team. As much as players may say that they don't care about being judged compared to other players they would all deep down like to be called the best for their position. Tamou playing big minutes as the number one prop at a club elevates him into the discussion

Boyd either goes the way of George Burgess or Tom Burgess. Both Burgess boys came into the league as bench players who had huge impact (George dominated as one of the best props of the year while coming off the bench most games). Gurgess was able to transition though into a prop who relied less on those massive one off runs and was able to sustain that to the point where he is now a 50-55 min prop who can get through a lot of hard yards and tackles. Turgess on the other hand has failed to transition the same way and is more or less the same player he was when he came into the league, a big unit prop capable of busting tackles and causing havoc but in short 15 min bursts and would be considered a 30-40 min player. Boyd is in a similar vein to both when they started but if Boyd really wants to make it as more than just a human wrecking ball he will need to up his fitness and work less on making that one huge run when his team is rolling forward and more about being out there making those medium sized contributions when his team needs them the most

Nice to see you Fraser Very Happy . As Beastly said, I've got the final SUG rankings so that will go a long way towards the Leagues make up.

Can't remember what I finished to be honest but doesn't bother me any way. Last season there were 1 or 2 people in the leagues who were not performing though and brought the league way down

I've been thinking that Merrin is probably a better shout to start the season than Surgess & CP13. Merrin moved to the Panthers to get more minutes & should get at least 60. Parker's price is too high & will probably get less minutes than Merrin. Surgess I feel will 4-5 games to get back to speed after a year out of the game playing that stupid game they call rugby union & may even get less minutes than Merrin & CP13. Thoughts.

Im staying away from parker as well but id would much rather start with surgess over merrin just because of origin and E.T could steal some of merrins tackles. Im liking the price of fenson if he isnt injured to start the year. A couple games last year he got injured and scored low so he is underpriced. Then again i could pick him up when he scores low this year from a injured game.
