My vague plan is use the 8 trades over the next 2 weeks to get the cash generation, and then starting bringing in keepers as soon as I can afford them.

Just hope they all bottom out in a nice orderly manner, so I can get them in easily

Oh well can’t hurt that I brought it up again. I’m sorry if it annoyed you, it wasn’t my intention mate.

I am seeing many posters bring the same players name up the next day for more discussions.

The funny thing is, with the change in schedule, I think it brings up so many good options that may never have been looked at before.  Even ones getting mentioned now, Milf, Croft, Xerri, RFM/Britt, just all potentially good options.

Although, if for some reason RFM secured a starting role (which looking unlikely), I'd love to punt on him.  Although, like Matt, I think cows and guns is going to be the best strategy for the remainder of this season.
The more I think about it you and Matt are right. I think going with guns and cows will be best.

I haven’t made any trades yet as well. I will wait til TLT and then there will be quite a number of combos I try no doubt.

I’m pumped as well, bring it on baby cheer cheer

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised.  I unfortunately don't see us making the 8.
I predict Souths to finish 6th. We still have enough quality to make the lower half of the 8.

    Keep the faith mate.

Also I have Cleary as well as Fifita. If Matt holds both he’s a very brave man. For me that’s too many dollars sitting out.

Fifita being out gives me a good excuse to bring Lolo in as well.

Cory Paix has been earmarked for the bench hooker spot for a while now, this clears the way for him to take his place

its a lot of faith in Turpin and yeah, Paix should squeeze onto the bench. He was set to take that position in pre-season.

I like Turpin but I'm not sure he's our long term solution, I think he might be a 'servicable at best' kind of player

This is kind of why I wasn't looking at my team until TLT haha.

Doesn't really suit anyone fantasy wise.

if the Knights are planning on a time-share then yeh, but If Macca slots into Brayley's 80-minute role, at the very least there's money to be made there.

Yeah, can wait a week and if he is getting 80 minutes, has a BE of 55, so can bring him in next week easily.

Potentially, I guess you are right. What was Watson's role the first two rounds, I can't even remember?

If last year is anything to go by, he'll score 45 every week. Playing 80, he'll get 50-55 points. I'd need to see him play 80 but he and Seibold broke my heart last year.

I thought the Broncos were going to keep him around forever as a 1 man club player. The Broncos fans love him so will this go down well.
