I am going to be really positionally inbalanced in round 3.

Assuming I retain Ponga, i'll need Kennedy to play to field 3 WFBs (or burn a trade bringing one in)
Will have no CTR cover either so need to find someone there

Even 2RF will be lookign dodgy- losing Fifita and Stimson and no current plans to bring in a replacement.

If Fogarty is a goer, and Walters gets a bench spot I'll have a zillion halves.

Just going to have to hope for luck with injuries/TLT and use my R3 trades to bring in best cheapies and R4 trades to fix up positions

Could all be scrambling to get Fifita back in for some monster scores over that period.

I feel he will come back R5. He won't be leaving my team. I have the cap space and trades to allow him to sit during this time.

DISCUSSION TIME: Do we think the NRL should follow the AFL's footsteps in employing fake crowd noise at the games? I didn't mind the chat on the field coming through the mic's; however, I do think the silence was just too weird to watch and I felt more like I was watching park footy instead of NRL. I personally think we should employ the same effects and have crowd noise thrown in the back ground.

Pretty sure some grounds have already been doing that over the years. At very least they amplify some areas around the ground.

Once he's gone, I will only bring Fifita back in if I'm happy with him in my final 17. not enough trades to bring someone in for a month of form.
Still might be worth it, but not sure he's an automatic return.

This is exactly where I'm at, not only in Fantasy but Supercoach too. I find myself void of any WFB or 2RF back up in Fantasy, and bringing in players I don't really want in Supercoach (and missing ones I do want) just because of their positions.

I'm exactly the same. Will have tonnes of halves and the loss of both Watkins and Kennedy at the same time hurts a lot.

Will likely replace one of them and have to play Stephen Crichton this week next to Wiliame in the centers. At least the Dragons have a great draw to restart the season, so Wiliame should be very playable.

If Broncos get well positioned on the ladder, I can see Seibold doing his rotation policy more often then not later in the season. I guess holding would be fine but I would hate to trade him and then scramble to get him back in only to be rested later in the season.

    Anyone considering Croft (510K)?

Has only played 93 minutes of NRL footy with the Broncos but he looked pretty good in that time. Has a BE of 55 so could possibly wait a week if you weren't burning for a half and he could potentially come down around 503K, which is 160-300K cheaper than the next tier guys and can pump out 45-50 point average. With more time to form those relationships during this time and with time to heal from his injury he could be in for the next step this year. I wouldn't be surprised to see him jump to early 50's, fly under everyone's radar and next thing you know he's up around 750K

The guy who makes monster scores against all opponents you mean?

A lot of posts like this one looking at draws - I’m going to say it, I think it’s a waste of time... unless maybe you’ve developed a regression model. I’ve seen nothing from eyeballing past scores than says weak opponents = great scores and vice versa. I’ve also seen nothing to suggest NRL has suddenly got easy to predict which matchups are weak months ahead.

I saw someone else trading him out, which surprised me. I think he is a hold.

Do we think Watson can match Moses at 139k cheaper. Ultimately I want Cleary as my half & if Watson plays big minutes at hooker then I think he can match the scores of Moses for the 2 games while Cleary is suspended.

    Thoughts & thanks.
Not bad mate, but if I were you I’d wanna get one definite keeper in out of that lot.

I think it's more the possibility of more attacking stats, creating bigger scores... however I am with you in the fact we can't predict that far ahead when the season has been out for like 2 months.

The Broncos only play the Storm once this season which is the only opposition in which our players are a surefire shit score. lol!

Is anyone else interested in Dean Britt? He could easily make 150k whilst Yeo may only make another 50-60k and then drop a little in price.

I mean Britt has a BE of 37 so even if he scores 50 this coming round then he’s still gonna be affordable and not much price difference come round 4.

According to me Britt is priced at around 33 and playing 70-80mins he should very well average 45.

The best buys at the restart are going to be guys like Grant and Fogarty. Would be like missing out on Nikora last season if you don't bring them in now.

If I was considering match ups I would be looking at opposition defenders more than draw. Titans right side for example has Ash Taylor and Bryce Cartwright defending next to each other. Both are top 5 for missed tackles
