So I have narrowed it down to 2 must have players, with 2 remaining.

Grant and Fogarty are the only certainties so far that everyone will have if both named to start.

In reality.. not sure what that means for fantasy. maybe he is moving to the left side. What will Fogarty's role be? If he is playing right side then he might take on some kick metres...

Fogarty scored 113 in round one of the Q CUP - GET HIM IN!!!

    Averaged 58 in 2019.

Looks like he has kicked goals for the last 4 years in Q CUP so maybe he'd take that on at the Titans.. not that they score tries.

Looking a little closer he has averaged around 20 tackles and 200 to 250 kick metres per game for most of his Q Cup career.. not too bad.
The scary thing about the 113 score is that it only included 1 try. Cleary had to score 4 tries to hit 120 last season.

If he is a development player, they are cleared to play in round 3 due to shortened season.

Do we expect McInnes to get 80 minutes straight away? Massive POD that I haven't seen anyone looking at here for the restart.

I certainly do not which is why I don't see him as a POD and nobody has discussed him.

It was more explaining why he wasn't in the system than a suggestion he can't play.

Those buying Yeo he is now priced around 45 average. Basically get what you are paying for in my eyes based on prior history. Capewell back on bench probably means mins reduce at certain times.
    Api 80 minutes + JFH/Tamou/Yeo/Capewell/Kikau I just don't see how he maintains.

Twal also priced at 51 now, and with their FRF depth don't see him not being managed.

I think I might take the punt on Connor Watson regardless of who is on the bench as he could quite possible shift to roving lock during the game.

    At this stage:

    DFifita to Connor Watson
    J Williams to E Katoa
    Musgrove to Cash Cow
    L Knight to Cash Cow

Bank the cash for upgrades week after.

my tv broke wrote:Forgot I had Lomax. Not an urgent trade because of his low BE but his scores could go south very quickly. The Dragons have got the Warriors and then the Bulldogs first up, so he'd be a reasonable chance of scoring ok in those games.

Hardly relevant but his previous scores against those teams are 20 in 9 mins (1 try), 33 in 51 mins (1 try), and 66 in 80 (1 try).  Maybe he can keep that strike rate up? hah

Wiliame just as much of a chance of scoring well too I guess. Having two dragons in your back 5 though? Ouch.

There are only 3 players in my team atm that I consider trading out, Knight, Walters, and Lomax.
Walters would be an easy swap for Grant. Knight is not urgent and could notch up some good scores.
And Lomax has done ok so far, but could go south very quickly as you said, Fogarty may be a possible replacement.

Isn't the easy draw bad for McInnes. He scores the majority of his points from tackles & he doesn't attack much himself. So if the Dragons dominate it means a lower tackle count for McInnes.

I don't know if I'd say that. Here's what he averaged against those teams last year:
    Warriors 61 (1 game)
    Bulldogs 57 (2 games)
    Sharks 82 (2 games)
    Titans 82 (1 game)

    Then
    Roosters 65 (2 games)
    Raiders 74 (1 game)

Capable of scoring well what ever the draw (assuming he plays 80)

I just did one set of trades last night before TLT and McInnes is currently in my squad at the expense of David Fifita.

Bit of alarm this morning about the amount of trades and amount of weeks left, though. Second guessing again whether to dump or actually just hold Fifita.

Looking at the Eels draw for the first 5 games has me leaning towards trading Moses to Watson:
    Broncos, Manly, Panthers, Roosters, Raiders

Those are 5 hard games & if Watson plays big minutes imo he could match Moses. This move allows me to also trade in Yeo, Twal & Isaako so even if my Moses to Watson punt doesn't pay off the other 3 trade-ins will compensate for any lost points I feel.

I dunno if Walters will be on the bench, so should be an easy punt. In rounds 1 and 2 Maguire had a four forward bench with Walters who's basically never played first grade at hooker playing the full 80.

Now he's got Grant, a natural 80 minute hooker, can't see why he'd carry Walters (only reason may be as a reward for effort?), but he still has chee kam and lawrence as utility types

Kevin Locke has put his hand up as another to help out the Warriors if they are keen. Would be a great signing

R1+2 we also played JRey as a starter due to Brooks's injury when he may otherwise have been on the bench. If Brooks is back it may change his makeup.

Its stilla chance Walters may drop out altogether

These discussions are the exact reason I will not be looking at my team until next Tuesday afternoon

Fifita is due back round 6 ish, their games from then are:
    Round 6 – Knights
    Round 7 – Titans
    Round 8 – Warriors
    Round 9 - Bulldogs
    Round 10 – Tigers

Could all be scrambling to get Fifita back in for some monster scores over that period.

DISCLAIMER: Not sure if this is happening or not (NRL)

DISCUSSION TIME: Do we think the NRL should follow the AFL's footsteps in employing fake crowd noise at the games? I didn't mind the chat on the field coming through the mic's; however, I do think the silence was just too weird to watch and I felt more like I was watching park footy instead of NRL. I personally think we should employ the same effects and have crowd noise thrown in the back ground.
