chee kam named in the centres could be a bolter for rnd 1? nofo and simona are definitely in the backline. is naiqama a lock to get a run? not much else going on here:

    3. Nathan Milone
    4. Michael Chee Kam
    5. Josh Addo-Carr

    10. Dallas Graham
    11. Josh Aloiai
    12. Kyle Lovett
    13. Jesse Parahi
    14. Justin Hunt
    15. Jacob Liddle
    16. Watson Heleta
    17. Rod Griffin
    18. Lamar Liolevave
    19. Manaia Cherrington

Yes, I would say Naiquama is a lock to be in the 13.  I love the Chee Kam at centre trial; he is what we need there with his size and skill, so I hope he kills it.

    Naiqama should get a run.

Either as winger with Chee-Kam in centres. Or as centre with Rankin/Hunt/Addo-Carr as winger.

Too many people missing from forward pack to get any useful ideas though

I think the last rumours I heard or maybe it was on an actual video the Tigers did for Fantasy that Rankin was the front runner for the centre spot and he'd kick the goals too. Too bad he's not bottom priced, a cheap goal kicking centre would usually appeal to me but I wouldn't want to take the chance the Tigers score a lot of tries consistently for him to score well.
Having said that though he'll probably get the spot, score 2 tries and kick 5 goals in Round 1.

Yep, has been bandied around a fair bit.  Are you saying you actually saw a video of the Tigers doing a Fantasy wrap?

tim grant just appeared very appealing to me. i recall a bit of talk about him but i think i skimmed over it. for some reason thought there was someone else ahead of him for starting prop. should get 45-50 mins? good PPM?

having two tigers forwards scares me (got SUE atm).

Grant is an old man & over the hill. He will suck like Packer.

Grant is on my radar aswell if he gets the starting prop position... People said the same thing last year with Stewart...

Tim Grant is 27. Hardly over the hill

In 2013 he was a solid 50 minute prop with a 40 fantasy average.

Started 2014 alright, then got injured, and was basically unwanted by the Panthers.

Didn't get a great run at Souths, averaged 32 points in 35 minutes.

Tigers prop rotation will be Woods, Grant, Seumanufagai + ?? (Maybe Sue/Edwards as part of rotation too)

I think he should be able to play 40+ minutes. Not sure if he'll get back up to consistently playing 50 minutes, which is pretty much what you need him to do in order to get the 40 points you'd want for your team. it is a possibility though

At the moment I am more tempted by Brenton Lawrence for much less $$, but ts yet to be seen where he fits in in the Manly rotation.

I was half joking about Grant. He could go ok. I wasn't joking about Packer though. Even when he was at the Warriors he scored low.

Age 27-29 is when a player is at the peak of his powers.

I will be watching Packer closely curing the charity shield game. I'm considering him. There's not alot of FRF options in the low 200K bracket that have had a change in circumstances (team priority, coming back from injury etc) that are worth considering that I can see?
    - NAS (Good PPM just needs more mins, but no storm forwards have left or are injured to facilitate that as far as I know?)
    - Packer (now that Masoe out he might jump up the bench pecking order?)
    - Lawerence (mins the only question)
    - Alvaro (wicks still battling injury)
    - Pauli (unless starting can't see him being worth it).
    Any others?

packer will be the 2016 version of rory obrien in the charity shield.

i just read an article from last month where tim grant is quoted as saying one of the main reasons he came to the tigers was to get bigger minutes and get back to that 2012 form.

Ryan Hinchcliff has left the Storm for England

Beware though. Picking ppm kings who still play off the bench is not a great strategy

Yeah true. Was more thinking about props. He's gotta still be behind mcclean, glasby, K brom. Unless his 9s performance impressed Bellamy and he gets a bump in mins.

Is it safe to say that a prop bench player listed at 15 is more cemented/preferred in a side than say the prop bench player listed at 17? And that would directly correlate to mins?

    Here you go http://www.weststigers.com.au/news/2016/02/03/_2016_nrl_fantasy_wh.html

They provide some written summaries of what they say in the video down below but from the 1:10 mark of the video they talk about the potential benefits of Grant and Sue's increased involvement/minutes and talk up cheapies like Rankin after that.
