He's too small for prop. I think he will start in NSW Cup with them for a week or two until he starts to train with them. Would destroy the team mentality if they bring in a newbie straight away.

Yeah he definitely wasnt signed to play prop. Surely either Papa or Soliola switches to accomodate him or Whitehead. I think the Raiders will definitely give the 8 a shake this year considering they also have an easy draw.

Yeah I think they will as well, they seem to have building quite the team as well. Sezer and Austin in the halves could be very deadly.

Very good point Honeyset. It wouldn't be good for the team culture & I'm thinking the team would want Tapine to earn his stripes.

If they signed him before the pre season started I could understand but coming in after the boys have done the long hard slog would ruffle a few feathers

How did the Raiders backrow line up last year? Left edge, middle, right edge? Whitehead been named to start on the right edge for their only trial against the dragons, Fensom out injured but I thought he was played through the Middle last year or is Whitehead playing in his vacated right edge spot?

I thought Sia played on the right edge. I haven't seen the team so I can't really visualise it. But Fensom always plays in the middle

I was hoping this was the case perhaps Sia is just shifting into the middle while Fensom is getting extra recovery time but There is the chance that Whitehead starts on the right come round 1 and Sia or Papalii spend some time up front whilst Fensom resumes in the middle

Yeah its strange I know that nowadays lock and prop are pretty much the same but I can't imagine Sia playing prop but I can see him playing lock. My weird head...

From memory, last year Soliola was left edge backrower and Papalii was right edge and Fensom was in the middle.

I liked the Blue and Yellow logo and it looks much better with super Ted instead of Reynolds
