So we don't congest the fantasy talk anymore let's move the chat to the Knights thread under Rugby League. Leave this for purely fantasy chat

Playing devils advocate here, they'd be upset because he's a mate of yours and just looking after his family and the boss isn't letting you play.
I completely agree with Brown though. Why let him play and get better as a player only to move to a different club? That's part of the consequences of signing got another club before the season starts.
but they looked after him and showed him loyalty not just through his career but through an assault case
if one of my teammates picked up his bags and left after all that then fuck him, the grass isn't always greener

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 6
Not the Knights players (although they may also be a little put off), players from other clubs. As I said all the players seem quite chummy with each other and I don't think any of them buy into the "stay loyal to the club" vibe. I don't think a single NRL player looks at Milford in bad light despite how fans felt (I include Raiders players here, pretty sure they are all still mates with him). Loyalty is very much the domain of fans (we support the team far longer than a players career or time there), players make business decisions. As a player I'd look at a coach who is spiteful towards someone leaving as a reason not to sign there. My bad, moving to the other thread after reading the above instructions.Welshy wrote:

More fantasy related, what ever happened to the Eels salary cap problems (and possibly starting with -4 points). Any word on whether they might have to try and offload someone before the start of the season resulting in someone there benefiting fantasy wise?

I haven't heard anything but I'm really not a fan of taking away competition points because all it does is penalise the players and fans.
Bulldogs supporters may remember when they were stripped of all their points and ended up with the wooden spoon. The Storm had a similar thing happen, its just so wrong to do that to the players and fans!!

He doesn't need a huge increase to be good value

Tauk and Sue mate i like the upside especially Tauk!
Lawrence i think will do well, played 60 minutes in the trial think Manly are invested into getting him back playing for them

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 6
Possibility of Taupau playing more mins at Manly?
And what is more likely A) Trent Merrin to get Lock and play 70+ mins avg, or B) Surgess to have his fitness up to scratch and play 70min from round 1?

I hope he gets 80 minutes but scores less due to fatigue from playing big minutes

I think you guys are talking me into SST. Been as skeptical as I possibly can but really can't find a fault. 2nd year blues is my best lol.
I'm not liking Hurrell possibly not being in the starting centres. I would have thought this guy is a lock if fit for the team. The guy can destroy on edges. Guess I don't really have a strong grasp on the warriors, was thinking Hurrell/Kata would be a good pairing (not that they'll link up or anything though).
