i don't think i've heard Roberts name called in this game so far, but then we've been running our backline movements pretty much exclusively through Milford, who is on Kahu's side of the field.

I just hope no one gets injured in the short in goal like Lewis did a few years back.

St.Helens shouldn't have been in this series, they didn't come top three or get to a final. Political decision.

That's right, but this year it was supposed to be different, hence the Grand Finalists and next on the ladder coming over. The English RFL had agreed to this...but then decided their third spot was "discretionary" after Huddersfield - who get poor crowds - got it.

I don't know whether James Roberts has been quiet this pre-season or his halves are still working on the plan of "Get the ball to Roberts". I think he'll get some great attacking stats at stages but if he's going to start the year quiet I'm wondering if it's the best idea to put him in my team now.

Like Milford he will take time to get into the groove, even Coach has said to give him some time. Dont worry come round 10 onwards he will be blitzing the opposition like last year.Johnny B Goode wrote:I don't know whether James Roberts has been quiet this pre-season or his halves are still working on the plan of "Get the ball to Roberts". Can't see roberts being as dangerous In a more structured side like the donkeys, he was the Titans only hope last year, surrounded by talent this yearJohnny B Goode wrote:I don't know whether James Roberts has been quiet this pre-season or his halves are still working on the plan of "Get the ball to Roberts". Well now you mention it I read an interview where Jarrod Wallace said he wants to play bigger minutes and he's got a big motor so I was curious about him getting more involvement but probably not as enticing as other potential Fantasy improvers in the FRF.
Also Parker's minutes to a lesser degree but that guy can score 60 in only 60 minutes anyway so not much of a concern.

roberts will just be allowed to ease his way into the team. keep it simple and do his job. there wont be any 'get the ball to roberts' type stuff.

As said already, Parker only needs 60 minutes. I wouldn't be concerned about him.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 7
my biggest conundrum at the moment seems to be FRF's. alot of options around 280k (evans, grant, stockwell), as well as BLawrence a possibility.. i also have Vaughan atm who i think could have a big year but he also makes me a little nervous

Didn't Milford start to score really good towards the end of last year? I'm actually considering running with him but I'd have to do a fair bit of shuffling to do it for a player that doesn't have a ton of upside (Watch him kill it now I've wrote that) but I do see Milf improving on his average
