If Peachey spends 15-20 minutes at hooker to cover Simpkin, Uto should be getting big minutes in the middle, would make him a must have.

My latest draft after all trials with 11k spare and pending Pap being out round 1 and Walters playing in the 14 with Kelly at 6:

    Cheese
    Haas Arrow Bullemor
    Fifita Katoa
    Cleary Ilias
    Penisini Bird
    Periera Hynes S. Crichton

    Randall Nanai Tago A. Fifita
    Tuilagi M. King Russell Koula

We'll have to ask Coach James Graham.

Flegler deserved to be there. Hard to knock Napa and Horsburgh out of position but I expect him to be too good to not be in the 13. Should start somewhere in game 2. Hudson Young is border line but opted his allegiance for the blondes when he first burst into the scene. Was a real shame

Did someone say must have? *sighs* *opens up NRL Fantasy and adds him back into my team*

Wouldn’t you be better off swapping Cheese and Randall on account if his DPP? A Fafita in your actual 17? Not a fan of your FB’s, especially Pereira. How did Arrow go on the weekend? He’s definitely an option I’m considering.

The way things are shaping up, I would have Fifita in my 17 as well, looking good for ~40 minutes for ~40 points off the bench.

Depends how you strictly you define "Cows + Guns"

The original intention is basically "no midrangers". So guys like Sexton/Uto/Hynes would not be covered by a strict cows+gun team. A purist would rather have Haas+Paulo than Uto+Hynes

That's why people come up with terms like "subguns", "guns in the making" - so they can internally justify the dirty little middies that are infesting their team

I don't think many people run without any middies at all. But if you are truly devoted to the Cow+Gun philosophy, in case of doubt always err on the side of squeezing another high calibre player in and find another base price player to allow it.

Did you just call my team DIRTY!!! Mad

True I could swap Randall and Cheese. Have to have someone as 17th man they won’t be a world beater if they get me 35 points I’m happy Fifita can do that. Well I had to cut at WFB, like you have to sacrifice somewhere cant be strong everywhere.

Arrow should get DPP and he is 554k. You’d think he gets 55-60mins. There is some value there.

Is that all the feedback you’ll give me?

I did my starting 13 and I was short around 50-60k of being able to fit Kobe in, in my 14-21. I really like Cheese as an option think he could smash it!

If Arrow gets 55-60 mins on the edge, I would doubt he will outscore Uto with 55-60 minutes in the middle (averaged 56 minutes at prop for 56 points to finish last season).

As a Tigers fan I don’t think any of our players are must haves. How many minutes are you expecting him to get? Simpkin definitely will need a rest and Peach is all we have but Twal plays big minutes too. Await TLT and we see the bench.

Mate his role isn’t that this year, his role is to start on edge and then move to middle that’s how we are gonna use him.

Uto averaged 56 minutes at prop to finish last season and made a big difference to the team. Would expect him to have a similar role. Twal played 7 of those games where Uto was getting big minutes including 4 of 70+ minutes of Twal as a starter, which didn't impact their use of Uto as well for big minutes. Seems Madge likes them both out there, a bit like Haas and Carrigan for Broncos.

Aside from Pereira I don't mind your team.

Thanks mate reason I went Periera over Coates is better base stats and I can’t have Paulo don’t like him for fantasy. I was just short of being able to fit in Berry over Periera.

They need to have a Tonga vs Samoa game the same night, so they can get off too.

He is not Tongan or Samoan, he is Cook Island Maori. There are actually more Maori from the Cook Islands in New Zealand than there are in the Cook Islands. I am surprised that they consider colonial borders as a way of distinguishing who can play for the Maori team. It is also a bit weird to call the First Nations team from Australia, the Indigenous team. It could easily be suggested that the Maori are Indigenous as well.

I don't think TLT will help determine minute for Uto

I am keen on him based on the back end of last year, and assuming he is starting prop. I don't think Liddle's injury makes a massive difference to his prospects. And Liddle is out short term enough that if his injury is the only reason you want Uto, I'd probably pass.

What Pangai JUnior did was quite stupid but I do not think he will be suspended for it. What does everyone expect the charge to be?
