If you dont have David Fifita, pay the extra $18k and thank me later.

He had a PPM of 1 last season and has a chance to play 80 minutes each week, or close to it.

Can anyone explain the interest in Vailea to me? Has there been anything to suggest this won't be how the Warriors line up at full strength:

    1. Walsh
    2. DWZ
    3. Pompey
    4. Berry
    5. Montoya

Arthars, Kosi, Ratuva, or Aitken back to center also in the mix I'd imagine.

Can't think of anything less appealing than a rookie Warriors centre with no JS, why am I seeing him pop up in so many teams? Did I miss something, or just wishful thinking?

Was named at center in the full strength trial team that didnt get to play, $240k in a side that has a great run of matches to start the season.

    Advantage ipap?

I've been trying to figure this out also. A counter argument: Let's say you start with Ipap, and by rd8 you've accumulated enough funds to turn Nanai into Crichton. Do you really want to buy a guy who's going to miss 2-3 games in the next few weeks? Alternatively you start with Crichton, by round 8 you have the funds to turn Nanai into Ipap, an excellent idea given he's a gun who'll only miss one game the rest of the year. That then gives you the option of trading out Crichton over origin should you wish, whereas in the previous example you wouldn't trade in a player in rd8 only to trade them out over origin. Right?

    Advantage Angus??

Pompey is absolute muck, he was spoken about by the assistant coach on TK's poddy (I took it as he was getting the first crack), was named for the last trial. I've had him in at 20-21 for a while.

I also heard he was the 'quickest at the club' which is like the final form of 'training the house down' to me.

Its been mentioned before but iPap has some advantages due to a stint where he covered for RCG at PROP and at the start of the year when he started of the bench the begin the year. He neds to have a higher PPM, which negates any small chance he will get a rest. I expect him to play 80.

I like Davey (Manly) and Moeroa (Storm) but they are unlikely to get minutes are they?

Payne Haas vs David Fifita vs Angus Crichton. I’m really struggling to pick at the moment, I can pick two but I’m struggling to pick two. Any opinions?

Who does everyone have and why?

Davey didn’t play all trials. Can’t see Des putting him in there round 1 against Penrith. My guess would be Bullemor and Lawton as starting edges.

All keepers so doesn’t really matter does it? I only have Fifita from that list

Just noticed Papenhuyzen’s player picture with the abomination of the mullet

Hopefully less people pick him because of it if he’s fit

We have seen peak Haas (playing 80 or close to it every week), and peak Crichton.

We haven't see peak Fifita yet. PPM of 1 last season, while being lazy a lot of the game.

A fit Fifita getting 80 minutes, the sky is the limit for this 22 year old superstar.

    Reynolds -

“I actually don’t feel too bad. I feel like I could play, but the NRL rules are there for the protection of players so we have to abide by them. I had an itchy throat yesterday. I actually tested negative on the RAT, but because Kobe Hethington tested positive, we decided to get a PCR test."

SHOULDNT HAVE GOT A PCR FFS

Cini was a mid-season stop-gap, not the center they may choose to start a new season with.
