Which is why I've avoided the temptation of picking up the likes of Bhana and Pauli

Could be fake. Probably a much needed boost for the Titans if true

Seems like a good move for all involved if true.

Through 2012 and 2013 for NZ, Packer played 26 games, He cracked 40 points twice. A 40 and a 41 in mid 2012.

I think expecting him to average more than 35 is very ambitious.

He's priced at 23 so averaging 35 would be a good win though.

    Saifiti's U20s stats
    http://www.nrl.com/stats/holdencup/playerstatistics/playerprofile/tabid/11563/clubid/107/playerid/7063/seasonid/43/default.aspx

    24 tackles, 2 missed a game.
    115metres gained
0 line breaks and only 2 offloads all season.

Not the sort of stats that suggest he'll be a fantasy superstar, but as a starter at his price he is too good to resist in your 25. I'd be surprised if he averaged more than about 30 though.

So I'd pick Packer as reserve if you have both in your team.
Saifiti should be there as an NPR though

much to my dismay i have to dump either Rochow or Whitehead and Turner will be the guy i bring in over Grant/Evans

Oh no you're not trading out Whitehead now after all this build up!

He averaged 60 odd last year minus his injured games. The Dogs are one of the few teams running an 80 minute hooker. A few articles getting around about how the Dogs have stripped down (make of them what you will). Personally don't see him increasing that much but that is more gutfeel mate.

The teams who have named four forwards on the bench - I'm a little more wary of some of their starting forward options. Tigers prime example. Chris Lawrence has been in my side all pre-season. As soon as I saw that Tigers bench, I axed him.

The teams who have named a bench hooker/utility - I am more inclined to pick one of their starting forwards, based solely on the fact they're more likely to get bigger minutes. Manly and Taupau a great example.

I went for this theory in H2H one year... it didn't work cos my weakened team due to underspending the cap by 300K didn't compete enough early on, I wasted trades just to catch up, missed the semi's making my theory of having guns for semi time redundant. Not to mention not every cow made money, some stayed static.

Thanks for the advice mate. From someone who has had this experience. Might have to have a play and a tweak.

And then sort my fantasy team out after that Lol

    1. Fill that spot with Green.
    2. Fill that spot with Copley
    3. Change Slater to Fergo (for dpp) and fill that spot with Auva'a and play whoever of Henry, Guth or Auva'a is named, or if need be use the dpp to put Fergo in the centres and play whoever of Feeney and Mitchell is going better?

    Please Help!

    Help!

Option 3 for mine. That's what I wanted to do for my team but didn't have enough cash for Fergo.

I'm running Green in the 2nd row so that I can swap him around with Aubbs and Henry who are in the centres.

    So i followed here.

Happy with my team, pretty much the same as everyone elses though.

One thing that is worrying me is my reserves 2RF reserves bench is all Newcastle (Rochow, Bhana, Saifiti) Maybe its my fantasy EPL background showing that as a massive red flag for me.

I have a similar issue not only with Knights players though but also with having too many Roosters.

    Thoughts on the better combo?

    A. Bromwich + Packer
    B. McGuire + Turner

Packer/Turner would be my 4th reserve. And both combos are basically the same price

I think Honeysett is planning this week, but overall it will be first come first serve.

Sweet as, well there will be a lot more people who can actually create the threads this time around at least!
