Same for me in regards to JBD or Hop. Could go a lower option in Harris or Tapine but short term I'm thinking of taking advantage of the time Hook is still there in relation to JDB's minutes. His ownership keep climbing too which has to be taken into account leading into round 13 I feel.

Thinking I just do Ford to Su'a this week leaving me with 16 trades.

Then look to bring in Te Whare, Hopgood, Drinkwater and Tohu in the next two weeks using Latrell, Carrigan, Niko/IKat and someone undecided.

Gives me some strong RD 13 options, and can reassess the likes of Ipap and others from RD14

Any APK owners left? Not sure what to do with him if anything. His price is a great enabler which would help with decent trades this week but I think he's just finding his feet and could keep improving as time goes on. Could get another double this week too I guess but could easily get another single digit score.

He's just slowly making cash, like a higher variance iKatoa yeah? Probably a sell at R13 regardless, so don't mind jumping off now if it lets you upgrade.

Yeah, could be one of the last weeks to jump on JDB whereas Hop wont go too far just yet

Coming back around to Tatola as an option.

Lower minutes last round were strange (wondering if possibly reduced due to tough week with his father's passing and missing some training though?).

Previous years when he plays between 40-50mins he averages 42-43. That's pretty good considering he's priced at 32 at the moment and the lack of options in this price range. Probably sees a small minutes bump over origin too.

Could save a trade if I went with him but then I'd also be keeping Sloan which is questionable.

Yea I've resigned myself to not getting JDB as can't really do so without two trades and don't want to be doing that.

On the brightside one less tool in my team that I don't have to put my ethics aside and cheer on!!

Anyone got the inside at the Raiders? I know the answer is #Riki, but why is Xavier back in the reserves? Thought he was ok for first match back from injury

Albert Hopoate was given last week off to attend a family wedding, and Kris+Hopoate are considered the preferred options

Ricky Stuart did say last week that Hopoate would come straight back in

Saw a quote from Ricky last week that basically said that Hopoate hadn't done anything to lose his spot, and that he would come straight back in (think he had the game off for his sister's wedding).

With how well Kris is playing, it's probably nothing against Savage, just that there isn't anyone worth dropping yet.

Worth noting Savage has played two games of NSW Cup before that.

Milch covered it, but seems Ricky just prefers the other fellas atm.

What concerned me with savage is he got dragged over the sideline a few times. The only reason for that is, you’re either too small, or have a poor read and put yourself in the wrong spot. Reckon it’s both for savage.

Kris has really found his feet at fullback, offers a lot more across the park than savage, is capable of doing the hard runs, not as much of a liability under high ball, and can tackle.

Hopa is the weak link and where savage can make his way back into team. But I reckon his size gets him across the line, for now.

If they bring savage back to fullback, they’d have to move Kris back to centres, which means benching Croker. I don’t see them doing that, unless he gets exposed a few games in a row.

In a vacuum, ignoring injury risk* and upcoming bye, he is stupidly good value this week as a Ford replacement and for Round 13 planning.

*Significant risk of continued MCL injury although didn't seem bothered by it in the weekend.

Could also jump aboard Su'a who looks like good value although appears to have a lower upside toc crack 60+ scores

I would love to pick up Tohu... but I already have 3 MID guns for rd13
If only he or Matterson had DPP.... sigh

    He's actually had a slightly better start this year compared to last year;

    After 10 rounds:
    23: 51.4 in 49.8 minutes
    22: 47.0 in 47.7 minutes

The main difference between his performance so far and peak '22 is just a few minutes, an offload, a couple of TB's and the odd try/attacking stat (which will happen at some point).

He's not there yet, but it seems like he's in the ballpark.

The downside for me, is it means saying goodbye to grabbing Tohu (but then I also miss risking his knee)

As someone who intends on keeping him all Season, that is really interesting, and very promising. Tapine watch to see when Sticky brings him back on has been agonising the last few weeks.

Ford replacements have been varied and many since TLT.

Have landed on Tatola at the moment but I’m not sure I want another 30-40 guy on the bench. Already have Sele/Niko fulfilling that role and they didn’t cost 430k.

An option just appeared for me where I can do IKat/Ford/Moses to VTW/Hopgood/Matterson… is that worth the VTW risk?

Could play it safer and just do Ford/Moses to Drinkwater + Hopgood/Matterson too.. but getting both Eels is appealing, even if Matto is kinda expensive

Haha, looking likely at this stage. Appreciate BCT's advice that Luki might be the better pick, but my EDG is okay with Preston, Hosking and Young. No MID cover with trading Ford, so just gonna have faith Tatola can hit 40 and hopefully increased mins over origin.

I see BCT is coming around again, so might be a few of us taking the plunge.

Knight there to rest Murray I think.

Burgess and Arrow can play big minutes, but they might give Tom/Tat 45-50 each with arrow playing some edge.
