I'm punting BS9, Miller & Boyd so it does make it easier to hold the others. After grabbing Harris Hopgood and Ponga, I have 10 players with empty spots at edg/ctr/wfb.. really can't see anyone worth grabbing. If i can flick Burbo to someone equally cheap I might do that with 4th trade. Fainu is no use to me as I already have 3 mids.

Little surprised by the interest in Drinkwater, but I just saw he scored 57 last week. haha that explains it. I'd rather just hold off and grab Tommy Turbo at some point soon to go with Tedesco/Walsh/Manu/Bula.. I really don't need more WFBs as it is

Its a reasonably strong 10 with just Niko the only 'shitto', fingers crossed Ponga fires up, but seems like most are grabbing him anyway.

Holds: Cleary Haas Carrigan Tedesco Walsh Preston Manu Bula ?Alamoti? Oloapu ?Burbo?

I've got 171k in the bank but maybe that is put to better use by upgrading someone (preston) to Fifita. Funnily enough I could go Alamoti to Ford (move Bird to ctr) for 130k, which is very tempting in isolation. I'm rolling with no hooker cover but hopefully that isn't an issue until round 16 bye.

I feel like there are a lot of sideways trades being posted, some people are trading in multiple mid range guys while not having many trades left.

I guess Ponga is all about risk tolerance, but for me there's too much uncertainty around him. I'm very risk averse though.

My only claim to fame in 12ish years is coming 1st in the Origin rounds on the forum around 2015 or so haha.

Had a random thought (although it was after a 5 hour sleep last night lol) and I'm going to go with it. Holding cleary, hynes and walsh with backs likely to atleast if they backup. Trading yeo and haas- even if they back up they might play less mins than usual. Especially as they'll likely be the 2 big min middles for NSW.

Haas yeo miller and hands to cook m.moses drinkwater and ofahengaue.

10 trades left after using these 4. Missing 4 next week so still should be OK.

PS. Appreciate the nice words re wicky + the suggestion on how to find the Scott Curtis video - I found it on there! So keen to watch it later today haha.

If you load up any match, beside the interchange timeline there is a 'match notes' section.

The general idea is that anyone can add a note/comment, eg X player went down injured and this is why Y player got bigger minutes, or there was a position swap at kick off eg whitehead named at lock but actually played edge, etc.

There is the option to tag the relevant players and add a 'type' ie what it relates to.

Its reasonably primitive at the moment. Any new notes get added as 'pending', you can still see any pending notes by clicking on the button. Once I approve them they just get shown as normal.

The aim is to build this out a bit so that when you are looking at a players profile, it will add this info next to the relevant game (this is where the tagging comes in) so you can see at a glance WHY a player only got 20 mins that week/whatever.

Will see how it goes I guess... Might be fun/useful to chuck in notes as relevant events happen while watching live games/etc.
