You could probably argue that the Broncos should do a number on the Warriors, if they are serious.

Broncos lineup doesn't look too bad even with the outs.

    Should be a good game.

i agree these broncos as well as all the other teams playing the fill-ins will be pumped themselves & will lift to take the opportunity to make a good impression.

The one time I have a free weekend and it`s the Bye Round.

Only miss out on 3 games.

Can`t remember the last time I got to watch more than a couple of games in Bits and Pieces.

Hopefully the quality of games remains high this week.

In terms of Ponga, still catching up on previous pages so not sure if this has been talked about or not.

IF QLD lose or lose badly do we think they are quick to change Walsh to Ponga, if Walsh has a quiet one?

I guess if Brenko plays, it could be anything from injury coverage, to something we haven't seen.

Perhaps tempering expectations for the week by naming him on the bench?

Into the 13 for Brenko before kickoff and Faamausili onto the bench?

Have finally landed on my final MID for the week, can't really go past Fainu.

Starting EDG at $220k (only available at MID, would hope he gets EDG as well, has been playing 80 minutes on the EDG each week in reserve grade, so is his natural position and averaging 42 there).

Plays the first 2 major byes, with the 2nd bye hard to fill with MIDs, and the guy he is replacing, Tuilagi hasn't been playing great, could be a chance to lock down that spot. If he does, he could be a guy that many regret missing out on at base price.

In a round where no other cheap cows have emerged with any job security, he looks to be the best of the bunch to enable other trades this week, and allows a single trade to grab Teddy next week, for Katoa.

Could play him at lock, just tell him run hard, tackle hard.

Definitely. I think I'm happy to wait til 16 for Ponga. Happy to take the hit with the price rises. Only play 2 games between now and O2.

I would grab him if i could actually play him, but, he's not replacing Tuilagi, he's replacing Burbo, which... says a bit about where he stands atm.

You'd hope he's still around by rnd 16 though, tuilagi might be back. Ola might end up in nsw side game 2 though as well.

I'd go him too, but means no Hopgood so no good.  Still worth a punt if he's starting in round 15.

Kelma's listed as a R18 return, and Burbo's listed as indefinite (but given that it's a hammy, probably at least as long as Kelma's).

That would imply Fainu gets 4 games starting at EDG (13, 15, 16, 17) but even if Kelma's back round 17, he'll get three games.

Three scores of 35 would get him 100k which is enough, as well as be a valuable number for the 13 and 16 byes

they're are all just guess-timates though, originally when he did the injury they said 4 to 6 weeks. four weeks has him back in rnd 15/16.

won't really know until he's ready to go though.

fainu might not even have the spot in two weeks time.

as i said i'd take the punt if i could, just already have 3 mids.

I've come around to trading Ponga in... risky but he's just so cheap and will give me some much needed spare cash

Yeah that's fair enough, and in my case I have a MID spot for him so it makes a little more sense.
