So the LV field is 94.5m. Are they still marking it as 10m intervals? And so when a guy makes a hit up from the 20m to 30m are the stats guys calling it 9m run or 10m run?

EDIT: more seriously might be a bit of an adjustment for kickers

Easier 40/20s? Or more difficult because it's narrower. Idk.

I guess given the markings that if Payne Haas runs 189m he'll be marked as 200m. That's a whole extra point of value, load up.

    So a 40/20 is going to be a 38/19?

The lines are marked 9.45m apart.

Dont know how the stats will work tbh. I would assume 180 run metres will be 180m metres. Or a run metre stats literally just an estimate still with stats man/lady marking a guesstimate based on eye.

I supposed i assumed stats like that are now digitised/automated somewhat. But i dont know.

Im thinking difficult. Similar to winger tries.. 3m less either side of the posts seems a hell of a lot less space when you think about how many winger tries just squeeze into the corner. Eg fullback coming across has less room to cover etc etc

Couple of 6-all draws coming haha

I feel like I'm still a cheap cashcow short in my team. Do the tigers have any viable options?
    Fainu brothers, Seyfarth, Galvin?

I really don't understand why the Eagles went to Las Vegas instead of the Warriors. Better team, better supporters, plus the edition of another country and another cultural base.

Seems like a waste of opportunity - putting a rich boys club into the public gaze instead of one that has some real fervour and excitement.

Speaking of dubious stats, I have always wondered how speed of play the ball stats are recorded correct to the nearest 100th of a second. Imagine the complaints if average play to ball speed was added to fantasy scoring...

100% and while they are at it why not have the Roosters v Rabbitohs rather than have them there playing different teams. Opportunity to market that rivalry

Manly v Souths was done on the premise of Hugh Jackman v Russell Crowe

No way they would do Roosters v Souths because of the ticket sales/TV revenue it would get in Australia normally

If I go Flanagan as 2nd half to Cleary I can afford Murray along with Grant Haas Ponga as expensive guns. Tempted. I would VC Murray C Haas

    Grant
    Haas Murray Cotter
    Wong Piakura
    Cleary Flanno
    Strange (Kris)
    Ponga Papy Kini

    Sitili Luki Salmon Hughes
Burbo Willison Levi Mikaele +72k itb

I’m thinking I might take a punt on Fainu as a placeholder for this week at least as I have 367k to use for the last spot and not crash hot about any of the options there. Was thinking Arthurs but I already have Cotric and Kini so probably overkill. Have no idea about any Tigers players of course haha

I dont think robbo means an extra 10-15 per game as of this weekend tbh

They want to build him into a big minute player and that will take a season or two.

    Regardless. Tempted.

I’ll happily wait and see for a few weeks to confirm his role. the Roosters depth is still a concern and with JWH returning, this weekend likely won’t even be a true representation. The fact most people already have both Sitili and Wong, along with the early lock out this weekend, I think I’ll pass (for now).
