Some confusing injury updates from nrl.com

    Richie Kennar (foot, indefinite)
    Curtis Scott (calf, Round 12)

Scott should have been removed entirely after he played for the Jnr Roos the other week, but stayed indefinite. Now they update him to injured again after being named for Falcons alongside Kennar?

Throws some doubt into whether Scott will play for Storm on Monday, if scratched from the Falcons Sunday Bang

    7. Cronk

    Thinking about the Queensland Backline, the certainties probably are;

    1. D.Boyd
    2. C.Oates
    3. G.Inglis
    4.
    5.
    6. JT
    7. C.Cronk

I expect D.Gagai will be there somewhere, if he's used on the wing, I've come up with a couple of shock choices which I reckon no way but you never know.
While Kevvie will probably go with J.O'Neill, what about Chris McQueen in the centres. He was used in 2014 as a wide 2nd rower and he can play centre and the other one is
Cameron Munster. Just read in 2014 he played with QLD U20's and was part of the QLD junior emerging Origin squad.

Munster was part of the naughty boys group that went out drinking past curfew and got banned from Origin this year.

Thought about him but the risk there is Stanley could come back into consideration. If J-Moz plays Origin (Which he should but rumours are apparently he'll be left out) then that's all good but if he doesn't then you'd have to hope Stanley doesn't come back into the team in Round 12.

Trying to find more news on Fensom, any news on if he will be sweet for next week?
Also regarding Elijah Taylor, did he play in the centre of the field last week ? Would think Siro wouldn't push him out of lock when he is back from injury?
I guess with a BE of 57 he could wait a week but is a nice price if he gets a full game defending in the centre

Looks like the raiders are training on my old stomping ground this week.

I heard a rumour where Morgan might be selected at CTR and running with four forwards on the bench.

    Scott
    Smith
    McGuire
    Papa
    Gillett
    Parker

    Thaiday
    Myles
    Lillyman

Apparently Cody Walker will be playing FB this week with Johnston to switch to the wing. Anyone still have him?

    New Plymiffs boys high! :pp:

In all honest, I always liked New Plymouth. My Mum grew up there so maybe that's why I've got a soft spot for it.

Also saw Mark Knopfler perform at the Bowl and that was one of the most epic concerts/settings ever.

Haha played a few games on that field, awesome when there is like 1200 doing the haka on the terrace as well.
For a school of that size I think we had over 20 rugby teams and just the 1 league team made up for the odd touring school  cheer .

Will be a good game at Yarrow Stadium/Rugby Park/The Bull ring (or whatever it is called these days)
Think the Raiders will be more suited to the cold, the Auckland boys are too used to sipping on latte's in the city

Dunno what the forecast will be but she can get cold and windy sometimes = more direct footy could result in good fantasy scoring for forwards

Right, so, getting down to the nitty gritty of bye planning. As of R12 my team as it stands will look like this:

    donut
    Graham donut
    Mau Bateman Bhana (Asiata)
    Bunt Lamb (Feeney=donut)
    Claw Aitken (Gutherson)
    Roberts Rapana Semi (Bowen)

So 11 starters (3 bench-quality) and three possibles plus three confirmed donuts making it 11-14 scorers. Not great, possibly not horrible, but could be horrible if the rookies don't turn up.

After R12 I trade Parker, Feeney, Bhana, Bateman and Lamb. Then comes R15:

    Peats
    JBrom Surgess (Evans)
    Mau Manners PARKER (BHANA BATEMAN)
    Hastings LAMB
    Aitken Gutherson (Davis)
    Latrell Semi FEENEY

That makes 17 starters. Then for R18 I trade Evans, Gutherson and Davis:

    (donut but covered by AE)
    Graham EVANS
    Mau PARKER BATEMAN (BHANA Asiata)
    Hastings FEENEY (LAMB)
    Claw GUTHERSON (DAVIS)
    Rapana Semi Latrell (Bowen)

So theoretically I can get through byes with eight trades and three donuts, if Asiata and Bowen step up. Which of course means that the extra trades will be used anyway putting out spotfires, but in the words of Les Murray, that's phoodboll. Any appearance by Feeney would be a bonus (yay for those three points!) and I only need R12 out of Bhana.

This would look so much better if Peats was still an Eel. Bang

Is it designed so the sheep can watch and eat all at the same time?

In all seriousness though, that looks like an awesome place to watch a game.
