No discussion of Issac Luke? He was average at best in 2016 so surely he is under priced (haven't looked at his price) and should improve in 2017.

Maybe the Dragons aren't happy he finally decided to get rid of the man bun. It looks like JDB is slowly transforming into Korbin Sims..

Weren't there complications with his newborn baby. Due to this he started the season out of condition (I saw a trial game & he looked overweight so I new he'd be a dud). I'm hoping he gets back to best which we saw in the 2nd half of the season. The problem with the Warriors is that they always start the season poorly so I'm always hesitant picking any of them. The one I'm looking at is B. Thompson & with the Warriors playing Knights at home in the first round it might be wise picking attacking players like Luke, B. Thompson & SJ. Mannering won't be doing much defense in that game imo.

Haha KFP. JDB will score an extra 5 points purely due to having no man bun on top of his head but he should have a shave first of all.
What is the salary cap this year. All the big guns well over 500k & Smith & Fifita over 600k. Looks like there will only be a few guns we can afford & plenty of mid ranges. I think Smith is too expensive & I might look for an alternative hooker like Hodgson, Luke, McInnes, Macca.

Anyone else think that JDB looks like Dugan with a shaved head + beard? Minus the tats obviously.

A lot of value in the front row this year. Might stack that position to start with

Stack it? As in three of four guns? Or just four value picks ie Vaughan, gurgess, Wallace and cowboys frf. I'm hoping McGuire gets the 13 jersey just for dpp and the fact I can pick him in the 2rf from the get go. Seems to be more value in the frf than 2rf

Sorry meant to be stock.
Vaughn, Wallace, Gurgess and Graham. I think Scott Bolton will get the stating spot with Asaiata the main man to benefit who is currently available in the second row

You are not going to believe this...
Debbie Reynolds (Carrie Fisher's Mother) has died of a stroke.
What the fuck 2016. Fuck you.

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 1
Think I'm going to base my side around the following players if there is enough cheapies - I may even not bother with having a full 25 in Round 1 because I'd rather go guns/cows than a whole heap of midrangers. This year the cap is definitely tighter. And of course
Smith, McInnes
Vaughan, Gurgess
Surgess, McGuire (when named at 13)
DCE, Norman
TTrobjevic
Holmes (if Fullback), RTS, Hayne
Should have enough room for Elgy, Cowboys 3rd prop, Jai Arrow, Tevita Pangai Junior then will have to hope players Like Phythian, M Dufty, R Jennings, Brian Kelly, Shaun Nona, Lloyd Perret and Stimpson get a run of some sorts to ensure some money making.
Still tossing up the hooker position but think these two will play 80 every game or very close to every game (not sure if I want to take the plunge on a 55 minute hooker scoring 30-35 with so much competition for spots.
I also have doubts over which two gun halves I go with. A Reynolds, S Johnson, N Cleary will come into contention and maybe Mitchell Moses if I need the money. Feels odd not picking a goal kicking half at this stage.

You have named 13 players there, and seem to be relying on rookies and bench players to fill out your squad.
That looks you'll get pretty risky 17 to me.
Also random stat.
Anyone know what these numbers represent
80
54
59
68
76
