    I'm not against it.

I mean, its kind of funny that every second peanut in a Blue jersey calls Boyd's wing play overrated because of the quality of the players inside him but cream themselves over JAC.

But sure. Pick a dude whose 5' something and 80 kg. Do you put him opposite Oates, Val or Gagai? Doesnt matter I guess. Same result.

"5' something and 80kg"? you just described both gagai and holmes.
The three are all basically the same height and same weight lol +/- 3 or 4 cm or kg haha (according to wiki)

so much of JACs positive stuff comes from him going in looking for work, being elusive and being too fast for everyone.

He is a match winner for the best team in the comp and there is literally no reason he wouldnt go well in origin.

Gagai 80kg? Jog on. He'd be giving 95 a nudge.

You could ask him on twitter, but being that his own profile still has him in a Knights jersey, I'd say he doesn't check it too often.

    Sounds about right.

Imagine thinking this bloke weighed 80kg. Honestly.

Adds Carr same height basically as the others and only a couple kegs lighter but a couple of metres faster.

I'm not saying he is better than any of them, but he is playing well enough that he deserves to be spoken about as an option for the Blues. Not sure how that is creaming over him.

I'm happy to give the Fox a jersey. No substitute for speed.

I'm not one to dismiss a player solely based on size.
I also think it is a recipe for failure if you start selecting blokes based on how they match up with their likely opponent.

If you are the best player in that position, you deserve to be picked - let the other team worry about match-ups.

Having said that I don't have JAC ahead of TTurbo or Fergo (is he not being considered or something?).

Ferguson performs at rep level but his culture is shit. I've got a line through his name based on his level of application to Game 3 preparations last year. I wouldn't hate if he was selected but I'd prefer someone else and that would be JAC.

I agree with your assessment though if you're the best you get picked.

I just can't have Fergo anywhere near the side cause he is a total knob end and really, even though his form is solid, (he was shite yesterday), I'd much rather take a punt on someone also in good form, with no baggage, and far more speed like Addo-Carr or a guy in good form, who is one of the best team men around in Gutho.

Fergo can get fucked, he won't be the reason we win the series and he won't be the reason we lose if he is left out. Time to move on from him and Dugan.

I said for years we wouldn't win Origin until Hayne was first choice FB and that finally happened in 2014, and we won't win again until we move on from Dugan and Ferguson.

JAC is penciled in for a wing spot. Freddy loves him. Will be very surprised if Turbo and JAC aren't named on the wings come team lists.

Peach will be the bench utility. Mark my words.

I was generalising, just like you were.

JAC is 88kg according to his nrl profile.
    ddddoooooiiiiiiiiiiiiii
all 3 are roughly the same height and weight +/- 3 or 4 cm or kg - just as i said, with JAC clearly the fastest of the 3

    with injuries to mansour
    injuries to fergo's personality
the only genuine wing options are jac and ttrbo and latrell mitchell (if he doesnt already have a centre spot)

Addo-Carr has a few too many simple mistakes in him imo. Both Melbourne wingers do but they go unnoticed because they have some Hall of Famers making them look good. Both are good players but are overrated. Put them in other teams and they’ll be like, well like JAC was at the Tigers.

Yeah I understand the knob factor but the bloke has almost been in career best form this season.
Tough to leave out, especially given he plays for the Roosters (which Freddy seems to hold closer to his heart than the Panthers, for some strange reason)....

The other thing to consider is that if the Blues bring in some sort of knob-free selection policy, they'll probably have to forfeit the series.

If NSW introduce a knob free policy then not only will they not be able to select a team but all their fans will have to stay at home as well Flip Off

Adds-Carr has no more mistakes in him than the next winger, see Oates last night as an example, or Fergo the night before.

And find me a winger carving up for a shite team. Who is more likely to go better.

On a side note, Hindy has lost it calling for a Graham to be our 6. We must pick our most inform halves this year and at this point that is the experienced heads of Maloney and Green.

I don't think it could be any easier to leave him out. Fittler and the Blues owe him nothing, he is a cockhead who has disrupted campaigns before, he isn't a matchwinner in and of himself, his form is no better than JACs and he doesn't have the Zfuture of Turbo. And leaving him out won't cause any disruption or disharmony to the team dynamic.

The argument that he is in career best form is an indictment. The Roosters are going ordinary and his best is not getting them wins.

Just leave him out and nobody will bat an eyelid. Same for Dugan.
