Anybody going to run with Sam Cook if he gets the starting hooker position at the Warriors?

Is there a suggestion he'll get the fulltime job, or just short term as injury replacement for Luke

If you ask me, it's his running game that has the edge over Luke. However Luke did look quite fit on the weekend.

My though of including him was bit of a POD, in a new team etc.
Already have Teddy, considering going Dugan to Inglis or Hayne and use cash elsewhere.
Dugan is not one of the good kind of PODs.He is named at centre and is likely to play there all year. He does not score as well there as full back. Thus, he is overvalued unless you think that is gonna change soon.

In theory I should be able to pull my rankings from last years overall group thread..... if only the search function on these forums worked....

NRL fantasy fanatics need a trophy for the winner of the overall group each year.

Shhh, but PhantomX listed them up on page 4 vaguely. If you put it up though we can work out where you would seed roughly anyway.

What do people think of this POD attacking team:
Cook
AFB Lodge
JTrobjevic NBrown Merrin
CWalker Cartwright
LMitchell Kennar
Teddy Trobjevic Ponga
Lichaa Nicholls Havilli L Croker
Leilua Katoa Doueihi Milne (think I will start with Milne and Doueihi) - gives me a chance to have a free stab at 4th reserve with Leilua in position 18.
Lots of risk but plenty of attacking potential with Roosters, Sea Eagles and Rabbitohs having reasonable draws to start the year.

With Lolohea playing ressieson Saturday,l Milne & Marsters had 1 shot each. Milne got his & Marsters missed. Technique wise he lifted his head as he kicked the ball. Still a work in progress I would say

Any thoughts on the gagai/jennings combo? Seems RJennings is good value if gagai attracts the ball and is willing to run and offload it. Seemed a good combo watching the game on the weekend.

I got my official response from NRL Fantasy regarding the use of emergencies and it includes the line "There are too many variables to know exactly what would happen". Don't know if I should laugh or cry. Here is the response it all it's glory.
No Worries wrote: If you have Carty in 14-17 and a half goes down on Friday, then a 2FR goes down on Sunday and you have Croker in 18-21, do you play a man short or does Carty move to 2RF and Croker into half ? I suppose the question is, are emergencies assessed at the end of the round or rolling like the lock out ?
NRL Fantasy wrote:Auto-emergency will be calculated as of the last game of the round. It will take into account the players from 1-17 that didn't start, the ordering of the bench players and their positions. There are too many variables to know exactly what would happen in your example, but for your example both players are likely to be pulled in as auto-emergency scores in your final 17, as the calculation is made after the last game. Keep an eye on the Fantasy News as we'll try and explain the auto-emergency process in more detail at some point.

I like it because there are plenty of Manly players!
