Can anyone remember if Will Smith subbed King last year at the back end of the season?

I also reckon Pritchard can count himself unlucky, bloke is tough as nails for his size.

King played 11 games at hooker last year.

First 3 Will Smith gave him a break, next 8 he played 80 minutes (technically, 1 of them was only 74 minutes)

Averages just over 40 as 80 minute hooker. Priced at 37. Given the value elsewhere at hooker, not an option for me.

King missed too many tackles for my liking. Plus he doesn't have much of the other elements that a lot of the elite hookers produce. He puts in though.

So what youre saying is we need a pump up article saying king wants to run the ball more this year?

Start the season with Murray or Merrin.
Murray might have more money making potential but I expect Merrin to hit the ground running and probably score more early season points with the possible easing Murray back after injury stuff.

Think you've got to see what the 120k does to your team?
I'd say Merrin has a better shot to start the season strong with Murray coming off an injury in the pre-season.

Exactly right, no point in worrying about saving money unless you can get yourself a good upgrade elsewhere

If you think Murray can match Merrin or get close, and see no perceivable upgrades, bank the cash and use it to plaster crack when the season starts

Merrin cause he's fit. Both if you can providing Murray starts at lock as he should get 60 minutes at least.

Looking through the stats on SST has made me interested in him. Not coming back from an injury and add in the goal kicking. Add a weak 4th prop(whoever it ends up being) for the Roosters means big minutes for all of Napa, JWH, Liu and Tauk. Average of 43.2 in games of 40+ minutes last year he is in serious consideration for my team.

Not sure in Latu but he could do well & he's a great enabler.
I'd rather have Liu over SST.
I don't like Hiku at all. In their first 5 games they might beat the Titans & will be doing a lot of defense.
Love the halves (this is my combo)
Turbo a great pick with their opening games & articles saying the aim is to get him more involved like a 2nd half. If you want to raise cash I would downgrade Turbo.
No Smith which I don't like & also you seem to have only Jurbo & Tedesco as captaincy options but if both Cook or Lichaa play big minutes they would be options as well. Also if Manly play a 4 forward bench then maybe Jurbo could get a spell & play reduced minutes.
I like the rest but my preference is to start with Smith.

I play easy coach too. Mind you the mass reductions in dpp's this year is a good move & makes it more interesting.

Nice to see our mate @beastfromthebigeast over in the UK!! Well I made it into work mate, but got a bus and the services will stop soon! Its not too bad where I am at present mate but I'm just off a motorway in work, so with the increased traffic it doesn't look too bad, but where I'm from it's getting pretty deep so will have to make my way home early soon...can't complain with that

His average when starting has him about 6 points under priced. I think he is more likely to peak at the 40-41 point range whereas Tauk has potential for 45 average with same upside cash wise

He averaged 44 when starting lock last year mate (last 10 games of season) most team lists have SST starting prop

If Tauk is goal kicking likely means increased minutes I would say so he is on the park more if favoured over Mitchell, then I'd probably veer towards SST over Liu
