How many people (especially newbies) are going to rely on the fantasy coach predicted scores?
Fanhub are a joke
On the positive... we've got a pretty good forum here with plenty of solid advise
As a rookie to NRLF I have to agree, their site is rather crap. Glad I stumbled across this forum tho. Lots of info to help rookies out.
I know you're background is SuperCoach. Did you play VirtualSports/Sportsdeck? Same platform as SC, different scoring as a crude comparison.
Up till 2013 there was no FanHub/Fantasy. Then in 2014 they came in as the "Official" NRL game and absolutely butchered it as they were under prepared and/or incompetent. However by last year in my opinion they had it nailed and both the functionality and aesthetics of the Fantasy platform were extremely good. They then decided for whatever reason to overhaul it this year and we are kind of back to square one again.

Looked fit in the trials and with Nathaniel Roache gone you would think he plays minimum 60-65 minutes. Probably play Lawton/Cook as a utility.
Playing for a contract this year as well so there is that too
He had 3 low minute games last year which would effect his pricing along with carry a niggly injury for most of 2017 so he is priced at 41.
In 2015/2016 he averaged around 48 so if he can find some form then he can potentially push to that. He scored above 50 seven times last year so capable of going well too if his mind is in it
Downside is he plays behind a weak to average pack and is coached by Kearney.
But if you think that with new arrivals of Harris and Blair improves their pack then there is that.
Also if his confidence is down then he is also capable of low involvement and the odd penalty so need to note that down too.
If the warriors can get a roll on and he gets some confidence up with the trademark darts out of dummy half then he should be underpriced and worth a punt
Disclaimer Lichaa/Cook are ranked higher on my list but you may want to stack this position
Were the 3 low minute games due to injury Booze? I don't know but when Roache went down I started to get interested in Luke as a benchie. As you say though, he is a very moody player and how his confidence and his team are going affect his performances more than most it seems.

Haven't played real dream team before. Might give it a go this season.SI wrote:

Well hurt his ribs in round 1 and then his shoulder in round 16 and given the games were low games were 33 mins, 34 mins and 43 mins this would tie in with this.
His tackle numbers have been similar the past 3 years around 31 per game average, its the runs that have hurt him where he averaged per game in 2015 10, 2016 it was 8 and 2017 it was 6.
Just the 1 try all last year too ,and only a few try assists
There is an article about how they want him running the ball more and if he can improve those runs then I think that's where the missing points are.
Injuries + confidence/form slump due to it
First 3 games to start the warriors season are Rabbitohs,Titans and Raiders so anything could happen there
Depending on the bench but worst case he shouldn't lose money. At 600k if he didn't perform after a few weeks then you could trade him for a missed cow/mid

I was on all last night Revs and didn't see any bad posts from Baramuda. His memes on the page 51 party seemed to revolve around poo but that's about it

Awesome, is that your graph Booze? I haven't really had a chance to look at the stats we have floating around this year.

I think that you're supposed to post your team when you post for the first time, along with p's and q's

Not my graphs, to be fair I am crap with that sort of thing but good at using them and noticing trends (It helps me visualise and see the pattern)
It's this site that I mentioned a while back, http://www.nrlfantasystats.com/
