2019 VSDT NRL

I traded himbut didn't put the R on him, so he's sitting in NPR

Whether or not I have a good round is dependent entirely on Farah lol and I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. Shouldn't worry after his scores so far but he's bound to shit the bed at some point *paranoid*

Can someone please explain why Alvaro was given a DNP. Rules are clear an auto only applies to someone who does not play.......Am i missing something?

All I can find in T&Cs is "Each participant will be awarded one Automatic Emergency, in the event that any of the Starting Players do not play in any given round and receive a score of 0 points."
So maybe they score Alvaro with a minus score and thus he didn't play as far as they are concerned??? (insert clutching at straws emoticon)

I had been heading up the rankings since a pretty bad R1 and that just slapped me right back. The H2H losses I can handle, shit happens. But the 4 weeks of toil for 1 week of shit sucks.

He ran over 7 metres so that is 1 point, but can anyone remember if he dropped the ball? If so that's a a minus 4. Either way I don;t think that is the issue as would only see that after the Lockout lifts. More than likely the suggestion that his TOG rounded down to 0 minutes. Which we know is wrong as he took the field.

He did drop the ball, but I don't think it counts as they ended up giving a penalty for the hit that caused it.

Great score! Thought that would be close to the weekly but someone in my public league scored 1,063.

Scored 1,018 this week so should continue to push me up, although they have yet to pay up my weekly from 2 weeks ago!

With the prize, while I've never won a weekly one, I've won others through this site and never had an issue being paid out. Sometimes they might take a while to get onto it but rest assured you will get it.

If you want to hurry them up, the help line is always responded to pretty quickly and so you might get them onto it faster that way.

I haven't read the rules nor looked at Alvaro's stats for the game but, my understanding is that with VSDT a player will get a DNP if his stats for that game = 0. But it sounds like that wasn't the case with alvaro going by an earlier post which suggested he should have been given a 1 for run meters? If thats the case they have stuffed up, if not, I think getting a DNP is consistent with what they usually do when a player plays minutes but doesn't record any other fantasy stats.

scoring above 0 only matters for whether you qualify as an AE, not for whether or not you played.

Fantasy had the same Alvaro bug, but its worse there because they've ended lockout and changed prices.
Some people have been given an AE for Alvaro which gives them a massive points boost they shouldn't have, so really they have to rollback all trades and reapply final updates/prices as it has implications for people's overall points/cash. Much worse then deducting a couple of points for missed penalty kicks.

Ok I guess that’s the case in nrl. In nfl on VSDT you can take the field and be a DNP happens quite a bit.

They are typically consistent across games, are u sure this is not what they normally do? As I figure unlike nfl, this is probably not so common in league

I'm not sure how many times a player has played less than 1 minute to compare it too.

Fensom has had a very early injury in the past.

I think a couple of years ago there was a Manly player who came on with a minute or 2 to go, and did nothing - didn't touch the ball or make a tackle, but still played in the game. Can't remember who it was or what year, so hard to track down.

Last nfl season for example, a kicker played the whole game but didn’t make a kick. Therefore while he played the whole game, and from memory even attempted a kick, scored zero and therefore all that had him, quite a popular player actually, got their backup kicker as an AE.

Whether it’s in the rules or just a product of how they code up the platform, it’s certainly how VSDT do it in NFL. I’m not surprised therefore that they’ve done it here too, so long as Alvaro actually scored zero
