In other news to take away from the Latrell stuff. J.Reynolds been charged with a domestic violence offence. Tigers have said he is defending himself (claiming innocence)

EDIT: On the Ponga thing, just read the Knights actually signed him as a teenager from the Cows on 600K a year (seems like a lot for someone who was pretty injury riddled at the Cowboys) until 2021. It was only this year that his contract got extended. I can't actually remember but did he eventually sign for 1.5 mil?

That J. Reynolds news was a bit of a shock cause he's the last person you would think would do that.

Sharks shifted him back to the wing a few times in 2018. He could be an elite fullback worth about 1m$, but I think it’s a risk, especially coming off a season of NFL training.

Without doubt he wont be worth $1M next year, but it's not a 1 year deal.

Possible stand down for J. Reynolds by the nrl but was he locked into the 17 for the Tigers meaning it has no effect for Walters.

He wont be stood down. It's under the automatic threshold which they set. Does still leave them discretionary but that would surely have legal repercussions.

They were discussing J. Reynolds on nrlscaddicts & someone posted that under the nrl stand-down rule as well as serious crimes the nrl chief executive also has the discretion to stand down players facing other serious charges including violence against women & children.

Of course it depends on the extent of what J. Reynolds did which we don't know yet.

As I said, legal ramifications. It starts to move away from arbitrary to being a personal opinion and public commentary implying he's guilty.

I can almost guarentee Reynolds will be stood down, under the automatic threshold will not mean shit for domestic violence charges, it's all about the optics and there's no way the league let's him take the field with these charges hanging over his head, Dylan Walker sat for domestic violence charges, he was found 'not guilty' and there was no legal ramifications for the NRL in that instance.

Fox are reporting that Tino Fa’asuamaleaui has signed for big dollars with the Titans after turning back on the warriors offer. I assume he finds himself playing big minutes (especially if Arrow leaves), whether it be in the middle or on an edge.
