In general, club forums are always very keen to have 'insert young player here' play from round 1. Especially if that team didn't do well last year.
Bonus points if IYPH is to be played out of position.

Mostly it's just hopeful daydreams from fans who don't even watch the lower grades.
But I think Feeney has a little going for him in that some of the guys he is being touted to replace ate young and inexperienced themselves.
Also Feeney does not seem to have a bunch of other better credentialled guys in NSW Cup to compete with if a spot dies become available.

So I would not be at all surprised if he plays this year sometime

Thoughts on Albert Vete? Looking at his stats last year, he had a decent PPM and gradually improved his minutes across the year...

Only issue is I'm running out of FRF spots... JTrbo, JGraham, Vete, Lawrence, Ah Mau...

Not enough minutes for me to have him in place of some of the other guys you mentioned. Besides Matulino, the Warriors have a pretty similar minute rotation between Vete, Lisone and Lillyman. Got an increase in minutes at the end of last season but I think that had more to do with the Warriors season being done so they gave extra time to the youngsters, rather than a signal of things to to come.

Great article in the courier mail about the broncos Beep test. Says Milford enjoyed his Christmas to much and is on the heavier side. Bowed out very early (but also affected by heat). Boyd and Murphy the best performers in his group. States he was heavy last year but lost all the weight over the opening rounds. So might be worth waiting a few weeks if you were planning on bringing him in.

Big Sammy did well on 18.5. Macca on 22

yes. Problem is that there appears to be a fair few other frf guns/mid rangers who look undervalued. And the only one who is DPP is Ah Mau.

i reckon trbo is undervalued but only slightly. i dont see a massive increase in his numbers but he will be solid.

Can some-one explain the Ah Mau hype to me? looking through his stats from last year and i'm seeing a lot of 40-odd scores (which is about where he's priced) with some outliers either side of that, doesn't seem to me to be some-one who could jump to gun status, & if he's got a price rise in him, I can't see it being very much at all... what gives?

L. ah Mau averaged 40 points in 44 minutes (Rounded up) and had a PPM of 0.91. This is a great PPM, one that he maintained in 50+ minute games.

The big reason people are looking at him, is his potential minutes. With the departure of Trent Merrin, it is likely to push one of/if not both M. Cooper and J. de Belin into the 2RF. This gap potentially opens up more minutes for L. ah Mau. In the 5 matches that Merrin didn't play in he averaged 48 points. So there is proof that without Merrin he scores better.

Outside of Cooper/JDB they have an ageing Creagh, Lui, Packer, Masoe (Who by all accounts can only play short stints.) in the Front Row. So he should see the bulk of minutes. I am personally hoping he gets 60 minutes.

Adding to what Random said, Paasi is a tackle missing machine who won't get a starting spot.

As long as Tapine isn't punished for dabbling with Canberra, he should be good for the first six rounds

Also with Au Mau he scored almost all in base stats, may get minute increase and any attacking points are bonus
