Yup, I'm by no means saying that they have great cattle, just a lot of it. IIRC there was a bit of talk about Rulon Nutira last year, promising youngster but not sure he'll get a run. And they still have Rory O'Brien hanging about as well dont they? Again, not prime beef but plenty of fodder.

When ever I see the name Rulon Nutira, I think he must look like this fella:

Different birth dates and difference in height + weight. Had to double check just to make sure Laughing

Taia is overpriced and don't think he'll get 80. Will he even start?

He will start. I read an article where he said he was training on the left edge with McQueen on the right. I do not know for certain if he will get 80 mins but I think he is the most likely. Greg Bird is getting older and I rate Paasi better than McQueen but I think McQueen will start. Henry is impressed with Paasi as well.

If Wallace is still in the halves I can't possibly see how he would increase in value? What makes you think he will improve his scores? If Wallace not in the halves he potentially gets most of the kick metres in which case could see a rise in value. But based on last year he averaged 30 points, he is priced about right. I see no increase in value unless paired with a different (non kicking) halves partner.

Take with a pinch of salt, I'm no expert, just reading the stats and probable team lists.

Panthers had 50% more errors last season than the previous. That affected his scores. Merrin on board.

Not sure if mentioned but with Masoe out for 6 months Packer may make the bench. Also big LAM may take the 10 minutes Masoe was going to play.

Fair enough, but surely one new player (merrin) can't reduce the whole team error rate significantly enough to improve Soward scores?

    93%

I see him more of an attacking 2nd rower than a worker though, so moving from a good attacking team at Souths to a "less good" attack at the Titans might hurt his scores

So LAM will play Mose's minutes, and the guy who replaces Mose on the bench will cut the oranges for half time?

It's not really one player when you look at their injuries last year though.

Just set up my wife's team - thinking of using it to test out a theory I've had for a while that the "balance" of a team doesn't really make any difference, and it's more just us fantasy nerds trying to make our teams look like a squad that would be feasible in reality.

Basically I've picked from most expensive available player (regardless of position) until i reach the point where the next highest priced player would prevent me from filling the remaining slots. Then filled from the bottom up with the players most likely to actually get a game.

    The Significant Others':

    Smith, (JNiko)
    Fifita, Packer, Lawrence, (CWN)
Parker, Gallen, Mannering, Pauli (MCK, Bhana)
    Thurston, Hunt, Hastings, Taylor
    Matai, Avua'a, (Henry, Griffin)
    RTS, Copley, Gutherson, (C.Matautia, Anderson)

Captain choice would be the hardest decision each week.

Kinda like your thinking behind this Soy! It makes for interesting reading... And DAYUM that second row. My only problem with that whole team is JNiko in the HKR position.
