Even with injuries we don't have any depth due to the poor recruitment. I mean standing behind Arrow who is made of glass is fucking Jacob Host as next in line. A Dragon throwaway. What sort of production line is that?

Don't get me started again in Keppie, a Manly reject who sometimes couldn't even crack their 17. Yeah, great work recruitment team. Dickheads.

Plus, in contrast, the only reason a club has a 'harder draw' is because they are an inferior football team to the majority of the teams.

The only team who doesn't get to play against Souths makes it tough as well. Plenty of free points on offer if you play Souths twice

I saw an Nrl penalty ladder doing the round's, is that just for and against ?

If it's club people they need their heads read. Good teams don't background the media. Basket cases like Tigers, Eels and Dragons do.

FWIW - I don't think Ben Hunt is a $1m player anymore but we literally have nobody else anywhere near first grade standard in the spine outside of hooker. And no obvious succession plan. And no obvious replacements available. Probably a wooden spoon team without Hunt

Would love to see how the Titans run Hunt/Foran and then also manage to fit Kini/Campbell/Brimson. Maybe we can get one of them in return (Brimson)

Asking genuinely, barely watched a single dragons game since early season.

I think youre pretty spot on with assessment of the situation though. I dont really see any of the titans players improving things in the short term

Its a pretty rare breed of player to still be at peak of their game at 34/35 whatever hunt is. This seems on the dragons.

Hunt was pretty good most of the year and the team did over-perform before the season tailed off. Funnily enough, losing Flanno to suspension likely didn't help - I think while he's limited he does enough to take a bit of pressure of Hunt and ensure Hunt is not driving 100% of the play and the Dragons aren't 100% clunky and predictable.

But 11th feels more like a fluke than building to something tbh

I do wonder if him and DCE swapped roles would either team really perform any better/worse. There's definitely a view DCE is far superior but it might mainly be situational.

Breaking news; 34 year old halfback not performing at his career peak. It sounds like he might be guilty of aging.

Anyway, Ben Hunt might not be MOTM in every game, but he still wins the odd games (or changes the momentum) that the Dragons might otherwise lose.

The Tigers lost 9 games by 14 or less, I think if they had Hunt instead of Sezer it might've been enough to shift momentum into a winning position on half of those - and ended up at a similar position to St George.

PS we have a half that would be perfect for you guys - named Bud Sullivan - he might have a you tube highlights package somewhere
