Has anyone seen jerome luai play? 184 and 88kg according to panthers site. "An explosive fullback or half with dazzling footwork and creativity".

Entertaining to watch, but they'd need to run like god to win the premiership with that style of play vs. the top teams.

If they're running hot and win week 2 of the finals, then I'll give them a shot.

I can't see anything wrong with us Warrior fans being excited about having the best start to a season in our history. None of us are saying we are premiership favorites but it is nice to see actual improvement to our fitness and the mental side of things with actually playing games until the 80th minute.

At that size he's likely to explode when he gets hit.

Alright lads question of the day:

If Cameron Smith scores 50 or less, is he a trade?

Yes I hate doing it, but the Raiders aren't getting the ball to him in scoring opportunities. Has been passed the ball in a scoring opportunity once in 3 games so far. Wasn't looking active like he should have been this week, which is where he gets his normally strong base from.

I see Friend getting 50+ from high tackle count as his base when playing limited minutes and can get 70 like last week when he has more minutes. He plays round 13, and is not in any of the top 7 teams. Basically seeing it as for similar money I am getting a player with a much lower BE, who on his bad days gets what Rapana is getting on his good days and should have the same ceiling.

If carty is named on reserves as rumoured and I also have arrow at lock, I suddenly have a strong 17 that I am confident will all score well each week.

My starters should all be good for 40+ each week, with a bench of Friend, Kikau, Rochow, Griffin, plus my pick of 3 emergencies through the loophole.

Both trade ins this week aren't in the top 7 teams, which is a huge thing for me trying to catch them.

Still 20 plus rounds left lad. No prize for being first by rd 10. I wouldn't worry too much about what the top 7 teams have, id be looking at bye planning and conserving trades. You've obviously got a decent platform to build off if youre in the top 60 already.

Rapture_NRL wrote:@mattnz fair enough, you're more experienced than me. He did score 50s without tries though

Rapana had a try and had 2 try assists. Raiders played Titans, Knights, Warriors, so has had every chance to get big scores against them.

Friend scored 70 last week with no tries or try assists, all base. Can hit 100 when he starts getting them. Just 1 try assist so far. If he has a really bad week for 60 minutes he would get 40+ anyway. Thats the kind of consistency I am looking for when paying for a Gun.

Those with Croker and Doui in their team, who are you going to look to Milk? I would love to milk Croker first just because Arey is fragile and Doui could be back in there in no time?

Not ideal if you own TPJ

“Corey has two small tears in his psoas tendon in his hip,” said Hickmans.

“That generally means one to three weeks out of the game, depending on how he heals and how his rehabilitation progresses.

“Tevita will be a similar timeframe.

“He has a tear in the sheath surrounding the hamstring muscle, so will also be missing for one to three weeks.”

Yeah bye planning is going well. No origin players and with planned trades should have 12 already for round 13, with no origin players there to screw things up over that period, so just 4 more trades required barring injury, leading into round 13 to have the planned 16 playing then.

This should be my last tinkering to get the right squad composition, should be able to hold onto trades from here, while getting great scores each week. Seriously think the team can start turning in 850-900+ each week the next while and be building bank at the same time.

I do see having PODs from the top teams as being important though. You can't easily make ground on the top teams without them. If my players perform, I can easily catch them up, especially over the bye period.

One to three weeks?? Surely the one week is needed and two to three is just in case?

Tigers playing round 13 might have just helped me trade Rochow in.

The pair were both injured in last week’s win over the Wests Tigers in Sydney, and are definitely out of the Easter Sunday evening game against the Titans.

But they are still a chance for the following week’s clash against the Knights, depending on how their recovery goes.

Yes he is & will be picked for origin. Something about 3rd tier nations like Tonga not affecting origin selection.
