Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 61
The only way for me to upgrade Cleary to Arey and complete my team that I can see is to trade Lewis to a $212 player. I could do Tuala but it leaves me with no centre cover. It just goes against my instincts to trade in a guy with a break-even of 0 but I guess that is kind of meaningless at this time of year. I was going to wait to see how Cleary goes this week but with their respective break-evens I think Arey will be out of rech next week.

But so was Taupau and that worked out so damn well, I threw caution to the wind and thought all rules were off. Now I have made a 'Never EVER again list' just for him, and have been holding that fucker for six rounds. Should I just give up on Duges and buy a premium centre? I can afford anyone to replace him. Or else I could turn Tuala into Waka Waka Waka Blake just to bridge the gap better whilst I wait for the Glass Man to cometh. Only 3 trades left though, makes me think I might just be better off suffering Tuala's poor scores and save the trades.PeniniPanini for your thoughts?
Drop the bastard, I'm in a similar boat, decided enough was a enough and cut him this week. Upgraded him to Teddy.
See you only have 3 trades.., if you have a decent 18th and 19th man I'd still do it. Sounds like he will be back at centre next week, and his scores at centre aren't as good anyway. Now is the time to roll the dice.

Isn't many options. I am guessing Tom Wright is gone once Walker returns?

Issako at fullback would make me so happy.
Issako Hoppa
Ponga Teddy TTurbo
Is that a decent back 5 for the run home?

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 61
Where does everyone see that ground can be made up on those above them from this point onwards.
Its seems that out of the 6 forward and 4 INT spots most people have 7-8 of the same players, with the remaining 2-3 positions covered by players that are only slightly less popular.
Halves, it seems that everyone has 2 of SJ, DCE, Arey.
The real variations seem to be CTR and WFB. out of the 5 positions, there are only 2-3 that would be common across most teams in a similar way to the Forwards. I.e Teddy, Aitken.
Is now the time of year to start getting creative with Captain options?
The more I look into it, the more I realise those with less than 3 trades (myself included) are pretty boned from this position. Regardless of your team set up, obviously some are worse than others, pending coverage.
My advice to those looking to make up points/positions, making a trade that will improve a positions score by 10 points a round for rest of year, is probably less valuable then ensuring you can field 17 decent players for length of season.

Thats who I was looking at too. Was hoping we got some news on Clifford today to see if he gets a run.

Who would you trade out in order to get Cook? It was going to be Isaako but with his move to FB I think I’ve got to keep him!
Smith
Fifi Arrow
Lolo Brown Martin
ARey SJ
Latrell Hopoate
RTS MBye Ponga
McInnes Kikau TPJ Niukore
TMM Brimson Isaako Paseka

Sorry, I should have mentioned Paseka is the only one I can’t trade out lol. He was a cashout last week.

In that case. Brimson.
Others are talking about Brown as an option to trade out. Not sure the thinking behind that, but I assume it has some merit.

Need to know if there is any chance of this Clifford starting, or if Wright could possibly hang around at Manly.
If it helps, Lewis is my starting half (along with Townsend) and probably will be until he gets injured.
2 trade lyfe

Any chance Fitzgibbon will get a start this week rather than play from the bench?

I thought he had a crack. I saw an image of him slotting one over (from memory). Unless that was BS or I imagined it
