Yeah, clearly they rate him highly, that's basically the same contract Haas has, though Haas's was 6 years. I guess Felise's departure freed up enough money for him.

You're asking a forum called "fantasy fanatics" whether they want more fantasy content?

Wow, looks tricky to find 4 middles worth having.

Any love for old mate Wade Graham? Could be 10 points undervalued if he stays fit. Guess he can't though.

Felise, BSmith, JBrom, probably KBrom, maybe NAS. Lot of change at Storm next year, they could finally slip out of the top four for a few years.

I don't imagine this kid will displace any of them this year - Bellamy will know this is his last best chance for a title for a while and want to win in the here and now - but could be blooded off the bench.

In and out of draft. Usually out because any sort of head knock could mean weeks out, if not career ended. If he actually stays fit he's way undervalued.

Wilton is the appealing one for that very reason.

He's only appealing in the event of any Graham injury. WG is locked in 80-minute starter if fit, other 2rf between Nikora, Talakai, Wilton.

I would have thought Crichton would play left and Tago right centre anyway, no?

Interesting to see which way they go. Last year Crichton's move to right was partly to get Burton on his preferred left side and partly to try to grab an origin jersey. Tago on the right would be slightly worse for his fantasy potential (less likely to make half breaks with his step but better for palming)

Crichton will definitely be the senior centre in the pair so will likely get his choice of position

He had 4 head knocks last season, then half the season off trying to recover. Can't recall anyone with that kind of history doing anything but retiring soon after. He is at the point Friend and Cordner were.

    Matterson.

    It is a risk though.

Seen a few mentions of Dwalker. Got a decent role off the bench last year averaging 37.2 in 41.1 minutes. New scoring makes that about 34.6. Priced at 34.Has a higher ceiling than that, could get a slightly larger role but seems appropriately priced to me. Am I missing something? I guess MID is a bit tough this year?

As far as I can tell, Bmoz and Ikuvalu et al, scored 27 tries on that wing last year. Just sayin' study

Yeah, Manly have a lot of middles, and with Jake playing 70+ not a lot of minutes to split between Taupau, Paseka, Keppie, Aloiai, Sipley, Bullemore, DWalker. Plus he's Aubussoned to the backs if there's any injury. Only one I'm half interested in is Keppie, who's a goer on the eye test and the coming guy with Marty's career winding down.

"Aubussoned" as a verb Beating Heart  Is there anything he can't do?

I guess we'll see, but everything I've heard suggests Suallii won't be recovered from injury to start the season. Would open up that cheapie spot for Naiqama or Billy Smith, but who knows for how long.

I think he's highly likely to debut in R1, though odds are he won't steal the starting edge spot right away. That said I think it's highly likely he'll have it before the end of the year given Felise and now likely Kenny are leaving.

Yeah, I'm not buying what Fox news is selling.
A $2.5mil contract for a guy that's 19, hasn't played a single NRL game, has had 3 full QRL games at Centre no less.
Ryan Matterson is one of the better edge's in the NRL and seemingly isn't even on 500k per year (and always seems not too far off State of Origin selection).
Yet, we're to believe a team that can consistently get players for unders chooses to offer that?

If it were true, it would have to be on one heck of a performance based contract! - but yeah, reeks of journalists plucking clickbait numbers from the stars IMO

MID is definitely a challenging position this year, but the only way I see DWalker looking a great buy is if you do some serious cherry-picking of his stats.

Aubusson is a great reference, especially given that DWalker's name seems to pop up each year as a potential POD buy, and doesn't look to me like it generally pays off.
I still have the Aubo as a better chance of making it into my team this year than DWalker

I agree with the pool - I'd be happy to throw up one/maybe two ~500w pieces a week. And at that rate it would need a pool of 7 writers to reliably get your 1 article per day.

But if it's just tidbit news (Dalker out with suspected syndes, Hodgie to start etc) then there'd be less value. Better to have an idea about what content we think folks will use.

Analysis? In-depth reporting? Humour? Game summaries? All have their place and could be good reading.

The trick is consistent volume. And that's quite a trick.
